100% Fed Up
Feb 8, 2018

t’s curious that former President George W. Bush couldn’t be reached for a single comment when it came to criticizing President Barack Obama, as he openly admitted he was working towards the goal of “fundamentally” and radically transforming the United States of America. Now, all of a sudden, as the former President finds himself in front of an audience on foreign soil, in Abu Dhabi, George W. Bush seems to have found his voice.

From The Hill: Former President George W. Bush said on Thursday that the U.S. needs to “welcome” immigrants and thank them for doing the “jobs that Americans won’t do.”

“Americans don’t want to pick cotton at 105 degrees, but there are people who want put food on their family’s tables and are willing to do that,” he said, according to The Associated Press. “We ought to say thank you and welcome them.”

Speaking at a summit in Abu Dhabi, Bush criticized President Trump’s approach to the Obama-era Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, which protects undocumented immigrations who were brought to the U.S. as children from deportation.

“America’s their home,” Bush said of DACA recipients.

The former President also told his audience that there is “clear evidence” of Russian meddling in the 2016 election.

Wonderful isn't it? GW comes out of his gopher hole once Trump is elected to trash the President on foreign soil in his first year, but never had a single negative thing to say about Obama in eight years. Hmmm? Someone might think that is a bit odd?

Those Bush people are weird. They seem to be half-Republican, half-Democrat, but definitely leaning to the Democrat side. Never thought I would see the day that finds GW, Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, and Maxine Waters, all on the same side.

I wonder when the Bush family will change Party? I'm not saying this as an insult. It is obvious that they identify much more with the Democrat ideology than with where the majority of Republicans stand. It is obvious that the entire Bush family would be much more comfortable as Democrats.

They have all drunk the communal Kool-aid. Even though I voted for both of them, the Bush family is lost to us now. Now, they belong to the other side.

People should start asking him about Obama's policies and practices to see what he has to say.

It does appear that George was born with a silver foot in his mouth.

This is perfectly understandable. Candidate Donald Trump destroyed W’s brother Jeb in the primaries, dashing the Bushes legacy onto the rocks. So George Bush engaged in a little payback for Trump putting an end to the Bush family dynasty. Ditto the Clinton’s hope for a family dynasty.

God Bless Donald Trump, a grateful nation thanks you.

That's all true. But looking a Jeb Bush's campaign, he was running as a Republican but his platform was very similar to the DNC. He was running as a Republican-Democrat, which several candidates do across the nation. However, Jeb didn't have the common sense to lie like the others do.

When you are running as a Republican-Democrat, during the campaign you have to run as the next Ronald Reagan. It is only after the election that you come out with your true far-Left beliefs and policies. That's how the others do it. Jeb didn't obey this simple rule and was spilling his guts right at the beginning. That is not how it is done. And he paid the price.

The fact that he came across as a wannabe dufus didn't help either. He was terrible at campaigning.

Fake news.  First of all, W never hid his love and admiration for illegal aliens.  This is old stuff, well before Trump.  Secondly, Russia DID try to interfere with our election.  Has nothing to do with "Russian collusion" or Trump, and according to the article, Bush didn't say that it did.

It baffles me why Bush, Kasich, to an extent Rubio and Walker before he knew better, come over as being so "open borders" OR "pro-amnesty", it's a real turn off. Some say it is about globalism per Bush. That seems a bit tin-foil to me but I am uncomfortable with views all of these politicians have expressed at one time or another. They should explain themselves rather than just saying "act of love".

G.W. Bush was a big disappointment. He was a hero for a short time, for seeming to strike back at the islamists who attacked us.

But eventually to me, his war plans were not sufficiently well thought out or executed, and we wound up involved over there almost indefinitely.

His immigration things further demonstrated his mediocre skills.

His "fight back" was nonexistent. Nice man, handsome, but weak, weak, weak. Content to lose.

Definitely far more happy with McCain, than with Cruz.

This is one reason I decided to support Trump.  He drives the globalist nuts.

Consider Bush's audience.  He's telling them what they want to hear.

My first thought when just reading the headline is it sounds FAKE. Or at the very least exaggerated.

Yo!

It was just of some feel-good stuff from Bush that happens to go against the current Republican grain.

I did. What of it? It's the same garbage he was selling 15 years ago. "Doing the jobs Americans don't want to do" bullshit.

Thought is was a lie then. Still do.

That's been bothering me since I first read the article.

Why the hell would Abu Dhabi give a damn about DACA? Do they even know what it is? Do they care? I can't figure out why GW would bring up that subject to a group of billionaire Arabs. It's confusing to me, and likely to them as well.

Why not discuss something more relevant? Like America renewed energy production. Or America taking over the world's oil production. Now that would be something they could relate to.

Hey George....  how about a huge cup of STFU.  It is waaaay too damned late for you to "find your voice" now.  And we've figured out (finally) who it is that is pulling your voice strings.

Poor Dubya, out on the big-dollar lecture circuit, and absolutely nothing to say
By Monica Showalter

The Associated Press is trying to make hay out of a non-issue, highlighting that former President George W. Bush is somehow at odds with the Trump administration over the issue of Russian election meddling.
