It reminds me of 2012 when Obama won the White House and the republicans won everything else. The democrats wanted to ignore the will of all those republicans who voted for their individual candidates and claimed that Obama won so none of those other winners mattered.

When they screeched that RTW couldn't happen in Michigan because "Obama won", I took great joy in reminding them that Obama didn't win a single seat in the Michigan legislature.

After Trump is finished playing president in 2020, he will leave a radioactive GOP behind that will probably be a minority party for several election cycles.  In other words, for the price of a single Justice on the Supreme Court he will have handed control over the Congress and the White House to the democrats for long enough that they'll be able to replace the next few justices, including most likely Kennedy, with young hard core leftists.

It takes more than just a tweet or two to undo a formally promulgated regulation.  There often has to be the same review process that took place when the regulations were put into place.  That's not happening with any great degree of regularity.
