Actually they do. They provide links to sample tweets and you can click to see each tweeters profile. A couple are pretty high profile too. Many other sources have also picked up the story and linked to other tweets.

But I understand. They are only supporters when it is for the best. When they are an embarassment, they never were supporters. Kind of like a Trump statement. If it was embarassing, then it was just a joke.

And then, play both sides, be against the most pro-life president since Roe v. Wade and claim one is a conservative, call dirty names like "treasonous", yeah, we got it.

Every politician in the history of the world has had supporters who are stupid/ignorant, and who will say stupid things.  Cherry-picking some tweets and using them to infer stupidity/ignorance on the part of supporters generally is a complete crock.

But, it's entertaining for some, so I suppose we're stuck with it.

Makes no difference if you are a Leftist or a Populist or a self-identifying Conservative these days when it comes to declaring absolutely, positively anything and everything that is not 100% behind your cause/politician/President... to be 'fake'/evil etc., etc., etc. the split second it is not in genuflecting adoration of the aforementioned.

Nobody has to like the GOP nominee, or even a GOP President.  But mocking of supporters isn't really going to help when it is time to elect someone else, and we need all the votes we can get.
