Yeah you are .   You impute perfection on our side that CANNOT exist , while turning a blind eye to massive slush funds created by Obama to fund the left.

What else is one to conclude?

Nothing about the current situation in DC makes me gleeful, I assure you.

Why isn't Trump a globalist? He has hotels all over the world. He just opened one in Asia somewhere.

I believe he registered at least 8 different businesses overseas during the campaign.

Warren won't have anything to do with it but Sessions will resign within a week.

What's your timetable for Trump's resignation?

 :shrug:

When he gets sick of it?

I don't think he ever wanted to be President. He wants to wine and dine, play a billionaire, etc.

@CatherineofAragon

Those are the words Session said at the hearing, and also what he said while walking to a car.  I'm surprised, in that hearing, he didn't say he met with the ambassador twice as a senator which had nothing to do with the campaign.  I believe that is true as it is fairly unbelievable he would talk with the Russian about their involvement in Trump's election.  He may have to recuse himself on that investigation to get this behind him.

@Victoria33

That's what I think happened---he met with the ambassador in his official capacity, not as part of the Trump campaign.

This was a completely avoidable, very stupid mistake---especially in view of the fact that he also stated in writing he had no contact with the Russians at any time.

I wonder how long before McCain (spit) and Linda call for Sessions resignation too?

Context is very important, the context of the conservation was the Trump campaign. Did the Trump campaign have any discussions with the Russians. Senator Session as chairman of the Armed Services Committee, is not the Trump campaign. And a brief meeting with the Russian ambassador by Senator Session is not the Russians assisting the Trump campaign. Senator Session met with over 25 ambassadors during the campaign in his capacity as chairman of the Armed Services Committee.

This entire Russian thing is a fabrication by the anti-American left to take down a pro-American president trying to drain the swamp in DC. But I will note that you are more then happy to join in on the lynching of the good conservative Jeff Sessions. This is not a case of 'well they did it too'.  It's a lie made of whole cloth.

I honestly think you NeverTrumpers deserve to be ruled by Globalist Socialists (GS) and the Islamists the GS will allow to flood into the USA. If my a$$ wasn't on the line too I's just sit back, eat pop corn and laugh while the left and NeverTrumpers turn the USA into a hell hole.

@jpsb, when you start that crazy Alex Jones ranting about being "ruled by the Globalists" (capital G, even!) I just tune you out.  And you put it in every post, so...

Did he say he had no contact with the Russians of any kind, or no contact with Russians regarding the election? Context is important.

@skeeter

His response to Franken was "I've been called a surrogate for the campaign, and I had no contact with the Russians."  Somewhere upthread I posted his exact words.

The written question and answer (from the Guardian):

"While the committee was considering his nomination, the panel’s top Democrat, Senator Patrick Leahy, also raised the issue of communications with Russia in a written questionnaire.

“Several of the president-elect’s nominees or senior advisers have Russian ties,” Leahy wrote, before asking Sessions point-blank: “Have you been in contact with anyone connected to any part of the Russian government about the 2016 election, either before or after election day?”

“No,” Sessions responded."
