If they did look, they'd have to confront how disgusting gay men are. That creates employment/friend/family issues.

Maybe, but unless their metrics changed over the last couple years, it's still apples to apples using only their stats. FR tanked hard. I have kept an aye on them since Romney and their rise and fall went lockstep with Romney-then-Trump's popularity prior to the election and went into freefall after the elections were over. That aligns with most casual political types going back to their lives for another 3.5 years so I'd think that was fairly accurate overall.

Here is a good example why I wouldn't use their numbers to confirm they tanked. Back in 2014, we were ranked something like 6K in the world according to them, according to our own host tracking as well as Google analytic, our traffic has increased ten fold since then, but they show we have tanked and only register a few hundred visits a day for us (one slow thread gets more than that here), versus our host showing 80K to 100K visits per day. We have increased by a massive margin on every metric service but Alexa. They show us dropping the same time as FR, but we know that isn't the case, Alexa's numbers are the anomaly.

I think CPAC may have just been the final straw because it is supposed to represent our principle, not a campaign event where throwing a milo tantrum and saying crazy things is accepted. People who are serious about Conservative values finally said enough was enough and reminded people who Milo was.

Of the full spectrum of issues, I like to see them all addressed appropriately by a person who claims to be a standard bearer of Conservatism. When they only get one or two issues right, they have a long way to go. Conservatism might become evil as a label, but that would be because those claiming to be Conservative aren't--and why we should make it clear that while they might agree with us once in a while, they aren't speaking for Conservatives when they depart from Conservative  principles.

people like to feel 'modern' with their gay friends/employees. They do not however, like to think about what being gay actually means and it isn't two hot chicks in a porn movie. It's a lot of mental and physical pain, lies, fantasy and carnage left in their wake.

I think there is somewhat of a communication derail on the tracks of this thread. Looking back at that link, @Bigun wasn't defending Piers or holding him up, just making mention to one specific instance of improvement. He certainly wasn't doing it because he defended Trump.
