I had heard nothing about this; so, I'll be cautious as to thinking this is something real serious.

Seems it was mostly Oakland and Eugene.
What are they mad about?
They still got their Socialist states they live in to remain so.
I wouldn't wish that on anyone, and I feel for TBR members who have to live in those places.
The scenery is great, but.....

Just thought I'd put this here:

Tears and shock at Clinton's election night party
By MJ Lee, CNN National Politics Reporter
Excerpted - click on link to read all at CNN

New York (CNN)At Hillary Clinton's election night party in Manhattan, her supporters grew tense. Before long, they were despondent.

As the returns trickled in on Tuesday, the thousands who were gathered at the Javits Convention Center to celebrate a historic victory started to realize that something was wrong. Virginia was much too close. Clinton was falling behind in Florida. Wisconsin -- a state that the Clinton campaign considered to be in the bag -- was too close to call.

Well before midnight and still hours before the 2016 presidential race would be called, Clinton supporters began to leave.
Descending the steps down to the ground floor and walking out through the glass doors into the chilly night, some were crying and others were consoling family and friends. Many looked shell-shocked -- unable to comprehend that the woman they believed would become the country's next president was going to be defeated by Donald Trump.

One woman named Kerry wept as she headed toward the exits, saying she had to hurry home to her 16-year-old daughter.

"Because I promised her hope. I promised her hope. And this man is despicable," she said, her words broken between sobs. "I don't know what happened. I'm so disappointed in this country, and I don't know what to say to her. I don't know what to tell her."  ...

Inside the Javits Center, the shock was not only contained to Clinton supporters, staff and volunteers. It also reverberated through the press. Huddled together, journalists, too, expressed disbelief at what increasingly appeared would be a Trump victory.

One reporter said the entire evening felt like an out-of-body experience; another wondered if the night could be a dream. ...

I've seen one article about protesters in CA.  From the indications it appears that the numbers were in the 10s.

One of my college roommates has a son around 32 years old who is gay and a yuge Hillary supporter. In a way, I find his Facebook comments from the past few hours amusing, but they're also terribly sad. Here's a selection:

You know that amazing speech at the end of West Side Story? The one that is "I can kill to because I have hate"? That's how I feel looking at Cory Lewandowski.

Every liberal right now can just start focusing their energy on helping Ruth Bader Ginsburg last four more years.

F*** YOU.  [needless to say, he used the word]
I WILL ALWAYS PROTEST

I know this because it's my birthday, but do yourself a favor and read the history of November 9th and the Third Reich.
It's a fitting day for a Trump Win.

There's no one I'd rather be with while I watch the word end than theater people.

"The 2016 presidential race got more young people engaged than any race in history"  I have to say that's true. I mean, Henry and I love each other, but the fear of a Trump presidency just put the gas in the engine to get married before Pence could do away with it.
It reminds me of the scenes I saw last night at Hillary's HQ, where millennials were crying or just staring vacantly into space, their eyes glazed over. Gee, we didn't know we weren't the center of the universe! It's not fair!

Opinion: The five worst consequences of Donald Trump’s triumph

http://www.marketwatch.com/story/the-five-worst-consequences-of-donald-trumps-triumph-2016-11-09

By: Rex Nutting

Oh my God what have we done?

As I write this as the first day of a new era dawns, financial markets are in shock over the election of Donald J. Trump as the most powerful man on Earth.
It will take some time for that to sink in, because we truly do not know what Trump will do as president. Aside from a few well-worn crowd-pleasers, his campaign was never about what he’d do, it was only about stroking his own ego and harnessing the understandable anger of millions of people who feel left behind.
Anger was triumphant as politics, but anger isn’t an agenda for action. It’s not a plan. Trump promised to make America great again, but he never said how he’d do it, or even what that vague phrase meant to him.

We do know a few things: He’ll surely push back against globalization as he promised, by building a wall, deporting many immigrants who lack the right papers, and ripping up any and all trade treaties.

Beyond that, it’s still a bit of a fog.

Will Trump — who throughout the campaign seemed bored when the discussion came around to policies — set his own agenda and take day-to-day charge of the executive branch, charting his own unique course as he did from the day he began his campaign? Or will he allow Vice President Mike Pence, House Speaker Paul Ryan and other Republicans to determine the details of taxes, spending and the thousands of other bits and pieces of government policy?
Trump presidential win ushers In shock, uncertainty.

On many issues, it hardly matters who’s in charge. We know the outcome.  It’s certain that Obamacare will be repealed, that taxes will be cut massively (especially for the ultra-wealthy), that the Environmental Protection Agency will be neutered, that abortion will be outlawed, and that the Supreme Court and federal courts will be packed with ultra-conservatives for the next generation.

Here are the five biggest consequences of the election of Donald Trump:

1. The planet will heat up.

... end excerpt  see link above.....

I'll summarize the rest:

Global warming is going to cause extreme weather without the EPA.
A trade war will cause a global depression.
Millions will lose health care.
Civil Rights will be rolled back to the 19th century.
America is over.

I heard Cokie Roberts say on the radio last night that "uneducated white males" couldn't handle having a woman as president, and that was why Clinton lost.
We are too backwards and sexist to elect her, I suppose.

Yep, sucks to be them right now.

LOL, when they win, it reaffirms our democracy. When they lose, it's because of "whitelash" and a return to Jim Crow.
You can avoid reality, but you cannot avoid the consequences of avoiding reality.

LOL - there may be dire consequences in the future, but this goes to show how delusional libtards are!

The *only* real possibility is #2, and he leaves off the most important threat of all...

The globalists and liberals will finally allow our sovereign debt crisis to come to head because NOW is the time to do so. With Trump in office, they have the perfect scapegoat!

Bear in mind that the sovereign debt crisis CAN result in WWIII. It can also destroy the dollar as an international exchange currency. It can crush our economy for a decade. It can lead to massive social unrest when there is no money for EBT cards. Riots... anarchy... all the things the left love.

The left CAUSED the sovereign debt crisis by blowing open the spending doors with unsustainable programs. They KNOW they can't be sustained. Who BETTER to lay it all at the feet of than Trump when Social Security, Medicaid, Medicare, food stamps, etc all have no money to pay benefits?

Think carefully about it. I'm NOT saying it's going to be Trump's fault, but they will sure pin it on him.

How to lose credibility while posting:
1. Trump is never wrong.
2. Default to the most puerile emoticon you can find. This is especially useful when you can't win an argument on merits.
3. Be falsely ingratiating, completely but politely dismissive without talking to the points, and bring up Hillary whenever the conversation is really about conservatism.
4. When all else fails, remember rule #1 and #2. Emoticons are like the poor man's tweet!

Libs may never admit it, but I think Hillary went too far with her in your face corruption. It got to the point where your average Che tee shirt wearing mook didn't want to vote for her; especially the way she shanked Bernie in the primaries. I said yesterday they'd be the wildcard. Guess I'll have to see if the analysis supports that supposition.

Cokie and the gang just can't grasp the concept of "flyover country," which to them consists only of ignorant uneducated racist white male trailer trash. I'm an educated white woman who easily could support any number of female candidates (from Fiorina to Haley, with many in between) but "couldn't handle" having that corrupt, lying, brain-damaged woman - Hillary - as president.

Hear!  Hear!!

College educated woman who would LOVE to have a woman President, but wouldn't vote for an evil villainess and the most corrupt person in politics if my life depended on it.

I want her to disappear.  Just go away.  Vamoose.  Scat.

I'm sick of this evil woman.....
Character still matters.  It always matters.

I wear a mask as an exercise in liberty and love for others.  To see it as an infringement of liberty is to entirely miss the point.  Be kind.
