Following the news that Obamacare health insurance rates will spike 25%, Donald Trump said he pledges to repeal the pro-abortion health care program. Trump pounced on an announcement that ObamaCare premiums will spike by double digits next year, saying “it’s over for ObamaCare.”

“In case you haven’t heard today’s news, it’s just been announced that Americans are going to experience yet another double-digit spike in your premium for ObamaCare, and it doesn’t work,” the Republican presidential nominee said at a rally in Tampa, Florida.

He also noted that because of insurers dropping out due to financial losses, about one-fifth of enrollees will have only one choice of ObamaCare insurer.

“One in 5 Americans trapped on ObamaCare will only have a single insurer to choose from, and boy are those insurers going to have a good time with you,” Trump said.

Duh. However, Trump is on record in the recent past as favoring single payer, and has made it impossible for a repeal bill to pass by attacking down-ballot republicans and thus throwing the Senate to the democrats.

He's got to repeal the ACA so he can put single payer in place.

But the big question is...how is he going to repeal it if there is even a slight Dem majority in either house in Congress?

How is Trump going to get the lazy butts in Congress to pass repeal legislation, especially if the Dems take the majority in either or both houses?

And what will Obamacare be replaced with? Socialized medicine? As we know, that was the plan all along --Obamacare would fail so we can have government dictate our healthcare. Both parties crave the power over life and death.

But you simply cannot go back to things the way they were before. Employment these days is too unstable to couple medical insurance to it anymore. There has to be something in place to affordably purchase health insurance on the open market regardless of employment.

Trump University was not unlike a dozen other real estate courses being offered during the lending bust.

The materials were well organized standard fare as were the advanced course structures dealing with short sales, flipping, foreclosures, etc.

Offering a two for one discount brought the cost of the Trump University real estate programs well below what other similar programs were offering.

Its a liberal mindset that expects education to be cost free and success thereafter to be effortless.

Saying he'll sign a bill isn't the same as saying he'll repeal it. Obviously, it's up to Congress to pass a bill repealing it (before any president could sign it), and that is not very likely.

Signing a bill is pretty cheap too. What makes you think he won't? Are you arguing he has some concern about the ramifications of signing a bill? That he won't do something because he thinks it might be bad for America?

If he's a cheap carny act, what difference does it make to him whether he signs the bill or not? Like as not he will sign it and use the political brownie points he gains to help him down the road.

So it's bad when Obama illegally uses executive orders to make laws he can't get passed in Congress...but in your mind it's ok if Trump does it?

There were dozens of programs offered at all levels of government protecting those who could not afford healthcare prior to Obamacare.

All that needed to happen was to encourage competition. That should have been the extent of the federal government's involvement.

I've always been under the impression that all Obamacare did was force young people to buy policies they wouldn't have ordinarily, to get more money in the kitty to distribute to various democrat constituencies. Except mandating coverage for those with preexisting conditions, which admittedly was a problem needing intervention.
