The problem for him will be perception. In a time where the majority of the public believes that the rich are not paying their " fair share" of taxes this could be damaging.

It's legal but I wouldn't say it's much ado about nothing in light of the fact he has blasted those who don't pay any taxes. There's legality issues, were it appears Trump has nothing wrong. And then there's the politics

This is were  hiring a good political advisor early on would have come in handy. If this story broke back in June, let's say, it could have been defused then and been nothing more than a set back

In Oct, it's going to be tougher. It appears Trump's campaign will be spent dodging and defusing bombs for the rest of the campaign

Yes it is. Drake Chenault is a cool story and the fact that a bank of reel to reel machines could keep a station going automatically is amazing. We had a canned Drake FM station I used to listen to in the 70's and 80's. WLEV 96.1 It was a Hit Parade format which was up tempo adult contemporary. Not really. We have all been reading about corruption and outright crimes from the Clintons for 20  years now,so almost all of us assume we have already heard it all so there is not much need to repeat it to this audience.

The truth is the typical presidential voter only pays attention to politics for a couple of months every 4 years,and only care about really important stuff like hair styles and what the pols say while campaigning.
