Whichever poster commented that most of those folks booing did not know what they were booing nailed it.

That being said, Ted emerged with his integrity intact. On Brietbart Radio this morning I heard the head of the American Conservative Union claim that Cruz had "damaged his brand".

Let's connect some dots. The Obama enabling, Conservative hating Mitch McConnell stymied Ted Cruz in actually mounting opposition to the Democrats. McConnell failes to invoke the "nuclear option". He is as inside as inside can be defined. He endorses Trump.

And rather that reject that endorsement (as a true outsider would logically do), Trump seeks and glories in it.

Cruz actually played it perfectly.

That being said, Ted emerged with his integrity intact.

I think that's what it boils down to with many Trump supporters.

They debased themselves with their support for Trump and it just sticks in their craw that there are good and decent people who won't affirm their poor choice.

The cameras several times panned to the Trump family and every time they displayed the same attitude.  Why?  Because he didn't 'gloify' King Trump?  Actually it was they that displayed a lack of class.  They could have applauded Cruz when he mentioned Freedom and the Constitution .... what actually happened and what Jr. eluded to on Hannity is that they knew before hand that he wasn't going to endorse Trump.  They made it into a personal vendetta and I wouldn't be surprised if they themselves encouraged the booing beforehand.

Yes, he has managed to mesmerize quite a lot of folks that are supposedly righties, hasn't he. 

This is like one seemingly never-ending episode of the Twilight Zone.  And I don't think we're going to like the ending, when it finally does come.

Ted Cruz gave a ringing endorsement of the constitution.

Trump and his fans could have used it to their advantage but instead see it as a threat that must be torn limb from limb.

Oh, they care. They may be in denial now, but it is eating at them. That's why they are so shrill. Those who would not bend their knee to their candidate are the focus of that shrillness because we would not waver, we would not compromise our principles, and thus they hold their manhood cheap in our presence. That simple reminder that they could have been steadfast drives them past the boundaries of civility and entices them to attempt to provoke us likewise.
