I'm sure glad I don't have to wait for November to cast by ballot. By election night, my conscious will be clear to watch two NY liberals via for a claim that neither could get 270 electoral votes and throw the decision into the new congress, one with a democrat Schumer in charge of picking the VP (since Trump doesn't care who wins there). Maybe that is why he picked Pence, knowing he will get Hillary's VP pick. But in any case, I can say neither were my pick. And maybe, just maybe, enough constitutional conservatives will feel the same way, that the Constitution Party will not be a "minority" party 4 years hence. Just like the GOP rose from nothing in its beginning to win.

Fair enough,  let's see who wins.   And this election is far more than Clinton vs. Trump.   The House is at stake, the Senate is at stake.   I pray there can be unity regarding the down-ticket battles, even as there can be no reconciliation concerning the danger of Trumpism.

Unlike some,  I am not going to abandon the GOP.   There are still too many good people fighting the good fight for limited, Constitutional government.   The GOP simply declined to run a candidate for President this year.   Instead, that contest is between a Democrat and an American representative of the National Front.   I have as much loyalty to that fringe movement as I have to the Dems.  The goal for me this year is to re-elect Pat Toomey so he can be a bulwark against President Clinton.   

2020 will be here soon enough, and the GOP will once again put up a candidate for President.   Cruz and Kasich, among other patriots, will be there to pick up the pieces.   And I'll be with them, God willing.

Like they were able to in 2016 ... after 8 years of Obama?  It is time to get real.  It is time to face reality.  Too few voters wanted Cruz and even less wanted Kasich and that fact won't change after 12 years of Obama.

There will be even less of a bulwark, Toomey included, against a President Clinton than there was against President Obama.  If there is any part of you that wants to stop the Obama years, 2016 is your best and last chance; and their names are Trump/Pence.
