 Sidenote:....Fareed Zakaria, as a host on CNN, is known to misquote Putin as well as misrepresent Russia's intentions to the world. At the St Petersburg Economic Forum 2016, Zakaria wasn't going to get away with that very easily..thus the interactions between his question and Putin's response....the people at this forum recognized it was a humorous jab ...with meaning to them both.

I understand Senator Jeff Sessions views Putin very harshly.  I'd think Sessions like Cruz, has wanted to give Ukraine full aid.
