A Virginia delegate to the Republican National Convention filed a class action lawsuit in federal court Friday challenging a state law that binds delegates to support the primary winner at the nominating convention.

This lawsuit was already tried and won at the SCOTUS level back in the 60's or 70's, I'm not remembering right now.  What more could there be to decide?  It was already ruled that state law cannot take precedence over voting with the private entity of a political party.
