Quoted for truth.

Thanks!  First time I've seen that one.  :patriot:

It's one that gets used on the V Bulletin/Simple Machines based forums a lot.  I learned it when I joined at Conservative Cave back in 2008.

It's another way of saying "I agree completely with everything you just said".

  This has been discussed ad nauseam.

@Right_in_Virginia

The problem with that argument is that, when discussing Trump, the nausea starts before you even get into the topic.

Fact is, he also has a habit of not paying his bills,. So his "successes" are often moral and ethical failures, in reality.

Quoted for truth.

I've seen it before but had mistranslated it.  My translation ended up at the same place but was much more crude.  **nononono*
"I wish it need not have happened in my time," said Frodo.

"So do I," said Gandalf, "and so do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us."

Agreed.  Trump himself is a moral and ethical failure.
Romans 12:16-21

Live in harmony with one another; do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly, do not claim to be wiser than you are.  Do not repay anyone evil for evil, but take thought for what is noble in the sight of all.  If it is possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all…do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

I like it!   :laugh:

:silly:

I friend of mine from Breckenridge, west of Fort Worth, used to see "Whoa, there, Lightening'!"

You 2 should meet.

On TV (Roy Rogers and Dale Evans), Pat Brady drove around Mineral City, the setting of the series, sweet talking to Nellybelle as if his verbal compliments could convince the recalcitrant jeep to get up and go. The name, which was painted on her doors in most episodes, apparently developed out of Pat riding an ornery mule in the earlier movies, and addressing it with phrases like "Whoa, Nelly!"
