Hush,  you are not supposed to notice Rafeal from Canada is a lawyer and his wife worked at Goldman Sachs.  :king:
These kind of silly, irrelevant ad hominem attacks that keep getting repeated constantly are what make people hate the Trump base. So what? No man who practices law is fit to be President? Or worse, anyone who dares marry someone who works for a company with a Jewish name? How much more anti-Semitic can you get?

Silly and irrelevant like "Trump has small hands"? "Orange baboon"? Or any other number of childish, juvenile, stupid, inane, moronic, idiotic insults? So should we "hate" you and the anti-Trumps?

Let there be no misunderstanding - there can be no reconciliation with Trumpism.   I'll continue to oppose Trump until he's defeated for the nomination, and if that fails I will concentrate all my efforts to see him defeated in the general election.  I will not stay home, I will not spit the bit.   I will not be a good German and pretend I can compromise with or excuse evil.

That was in response to musiclady calling Trump a "shyster."  She obviously didn't really know what that word meant.  That's why Cruz being a politician and a lawyer is so funny based on her trying to insult Trump.

According to another poster here, you've said you'll voter for Hillary if Trump is the nominee.

Which makes Bigun's posts about Trump supporting electing Hillary all the more ridiculous.

Vote GOP in the general election....or you ARE the problem.

Its that simple. No escaping that fact, no way to twist the situation with gumby semantics, no place to hide from that overarching truth.

And if you can't discern the policy difference between Hillary and Trump...well...you must have dropped out of school in about 3rd grade.

Let me help.

Hillary - wants full amnesty, wants higher corporate and personal taxes, loves Obamacare, wants MORE government, wants more affirmative action quota programs, wants 15 dollar minimum wage, wants more money for abortions, wants to undermine the 2nd amendment, wants to undermine the 1st amendment, wants to continue weakening our national defense, wants to increase spending. Finally, will appoint 3-4 VERY liberal justices and shape the Supreme Court heavily towards socialism/liberalism for the next 3 decades.

Trump - opposes all of these. Will appoint "justices akin to Scalia" for the next 3-4 appointments, shaping the SCJ in a conservative lean for the next 3 decades.

It doesn't get any clearer than that...though that won't convince the peawits who hide behind "he's lying, he's lib, he's given money to libs", as if that defines what his positions are today. He's running on that platform, and could not deviate from it even if he wanted to as president...it would be politically impossible. So wake up!

Hmm.

Well, we have a solution for this.  As upwards of 1/3 of the GOP will not vote for Trump, no matter what... the obvious fix to get all the registered GOP voters to vote GOP will be to have someone other than Trump as the Presidential candidate.

The fact that those calling for all to vote GOP are doing everything possible to render the lowest party support-base seen in living memory... *IS* the problem.

You've got the solution, implement it.

You're a drama queen. An absurd one. The kind of person who considers those who disagree with him not to just be wrong, but to be evil. That kind of black/white-no gray thinking is just plain intellectually bankrupt. Childish. Petty.

You're 1/3 number is...well...silly. Once a nominee is in place, that number immediately becomes negligible. That said, were Cruz to have one...you'd face the exact same problem, but on a larger scale. So the OBVIOUS answer, is to expect the Cruz and establishment types who are now nurturing hurt feelings, to grow up and be adults. I believe the vast majority will, especially with the realization of what failing to do so will mean (A Clintonian nightmare).

The hardcore neverTrumps are a tiny group, though they are loud and ever present on discussion boards....and to be fair, there are an equally staunch group of neverCruz's. In both cases, they are not sufficient to alter the primary...and in the case of Trump, his pull from Reagan Dems and Independents will outweigh the loss of NeverTrump voters. That said, "never" voters of ALL ilks are petulant children, taking their ball home because their guy didn't win. Boo-hoo...and no party can afford to be held hostage by such juvenile sentiments.

The republic died in 2012 when Obama was re-elected and yet somehow that's our fault?

No, it didn't.   Looks like we've made it through the Obama years.  Tattered and a mess, but nothing that can't be righted.

The social upheaval with gay rights and gender affiliation can't be reversed, but what our kids are being taught in schools and universities can.

No, it will be YOUR fault that Hillary Clinton becomes the next POTUS.

On what kind of SCOTUS justices alone...should be more than sufficient reason...IF YOU'RE ANY KIND OF CONSERVATIVE...to vote for the Nominee, NO MATTER WHOM.

I'm as tired of typing that as you're tired of reading it.

It makes no sense, because its based purely on emotion. Reason...logic...wisdom...all are absent from such individuals. They are mad that their guy didn't win, and they are determined to make sure the GOP loses the election to make their point. They don't really care if that means the entire country goes down in a swirling toilet...as long as they can throw out an I told you so as the log rolls over and they all drown.

If you believe any of that, you have not paid attention to anything Donald Trump has done or said in the past 30 years. He still to this day wants universal, government-funded health care, forcing people who don't need it to buy into an overpriced system; and that's one of the positions he hasn't flip-flopped on. As for his court appointments, we have no proof of that. He's never had to appoint judges as a governor or approve or reject a nomination as a Senator. The last guy to have been in that position on our side was General Eisenhower, who as President appointed two of the most revolutionary leftist judges in American history, Earl Warren and William Brennan.

If you truly believe that a candidate would never change his mind after being elected, you obviously do not remember Bush's second term. Right after he was elected, he proposed his guest worker program and tried to muck up Social Security. If Trump is able to dupe people into denying his past to get elected the first time, what makes you think he won't do it again?

For the record, by the way, I have a bachelor's degree in meteorology, not that it has done me any good finding work.

If you're having to convince conservatives to vote for the presumptive GOP candidate... you've selected a piss-poor candidate.  Maybe that shoulda been on the Trump-side's mind when choosing a candidate?

Instead, it was all "blow up the GOPe and the DONAR class!!!"

The Trump-side has burnt their bridges.  Enjoy the destruction, it's what the Trump-side wanted.

Right.  And it makes much more sense that the reason he's trying to destroy the Republican party is not that he's upset with the so-called "GOPe"  but rather that his much more frequent Democrat side wants to destroy the Republican party because it opposes his Progressive ideology.

Here comes the aluminum foil hats! Can you not see the absurd lengths you all are going to in an effort to defend a position that has one outcome...a Hillary Clinton Presidency? The only way you can cling to such absurdity, without being deafened by cognitive dissonance, is to posit that Trump is essentially the anti-Christ who is seductively plotting the downfall of conservatism. That's such an innately idiotic position, it forces you to put on the aluminum foil hats...block out the alien mind control rays...and suggest Roswell/Grassy Nole style conspiracy theories.

If any of you could step back for two seconds...look at things with ANY objectivity (throw in names like Reagan and Ford in place of Cruz and Trump)...you would see just how insane your position has become. Just because your guy lost, you all insist you'll never vote for the actual nominee. Well, if we all took that idiotic position, every Republican nominee would lose EVERY general election. You've all twisted yourselves into these horrific semantic pretzel shapes hoping to Gumby your way out of a set of intellectual contradictions that would make the Flying Wallendas gasp in envy.

But the real truth of your position is much simpler...its not about ideology or some elevated moral opposition. If it was, you'd do ANYTHING to keep Hillary Clinton from becoming the president, including voting for Donald Trump. For my part, I'd vote for Darth Vader over Hillary...as would ANY intellectually consistent conservative.

This isn't really about conservative or liberal, its about mature and immature. Its about "I didn't get my way".

You ARE voting for Darth Vader.  You, like Trump, must have no moral core if you would vote for a man who treats women like dirt, is a bigot, an insulting vulgar man who lies without compunction and who is so ignorant on policy that he thought it was a pro-life position to punish a woman for murder if she had an abortion.

I will not vote for a punk to lead this country, and that is what Trump is.  You do your best convincing others to do your bidding.
