I have a whole damn yard full of swamp rabbits. A friend driving by the other day told me he counted 14 in my front yard.
Seems like they like to eat the sweet short grass in the yard more than the tall swamp grass.
Damn fleas are driving me nuts this year.
Saw a stray cat in my backyard maybe a week ago that somebody dumped off,but when I started to walk towards it,it ran away and I haven't seen it since.
Put out a can of catfood for it that afternoon, right where I had seen the cat,and it was eaten by something that night,so I put out another can two more nights in a row,and it wasn't touched. I guess something wild "got" her.
Cats that are born and grow up inside houses are NOT qualified to take care of themselves in the wild where there are larger predators.
