🇺🇸🇮🇷 U.S. and Iranian officials remain in talks in Switzerland, with Pakistan and Qatar mediating. Discussions reportedly cover Lebanon ceasefire enforcement, the Strait of Hormuz, nuclear issues, and implementation of the recent MOU.

A U.S. diplomat reportedly says progress has been made and all sides are generally satisfied. Senior-level talks are expected to conclude Monday, with technical teams continuing negotiations afterward.

As we contemplate the Iranian delegation storming out of the negotiations in Switzerland like a bunch of humiliated high school mean girls, consider the possibility that Trump signed the MOU for two reasons:

1. To show the whole world that the Iranian mullahs are incapable of operating in good faith.

2. To show the world he has no choice but to once again bomb the crap out of them.

I don't think that Trump is that prescient.  I think that Vance, Witkoff, Kushner, and their Pakistani business partners convinced him to "give peace a chance" because there were deals and money to be made!

So what is the truth here?  Vance is gone, but no he's still there.  The talks are off and the Iranians walked out, but no talks are making progress.  Vance was made a fool of...but......   Sheesh....

U.S. and Iranian officials were locked in talks in Switzerland on Sunday as both sides worked to address Iran’s nuclear program and regional security concerns, according to a U.S. diplomat involved in the discussions.

The diplomat told Fox News Chief Foreign Correspondent Trey Yingst that the Iranians were still in Switzerland and that talks were continuing.

The diplomat also confirmed that negotiations have continued in earnest throughout the day with some of the discussion focused on clarifying the confusing messaging on the Strait of Hormuz to ensure it will remain open.

The diploma also said that robust discussions on all elements of the nuclear deal were ongoing.

Vice President JD Vance, Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner had met with Iranian officials on Sunday amid a 60-day effort to determine the future of Iran’s nuclear program and other key issues.

I agree; Rubio is the Secretary of State and should be the one negotiating.  This 'special envoy' seems like nothing more than a 'business negotiation'. 

Likely Kusher has made deals with Iran and or Pakistan.  Why is Pakistan hosting the negotiations in the first place?

As a note both Kushner and Witkoff are real estate investors with Witkoff worth over $2Billion and Kushner worth $1Billion. Witkoff works alongside Affinity Partners. He is not technically a part of Jared Kushner's Affinity Partners private equity firm, but the two men operate as close, overlapping business and diplomatic allies.  During his tenure in the second Trump administration, Witkoff and his family maintained extensive business ties with Middle East governments, including through World Liberty Financial, a cryptocurrency firm founded by his sons and Trump family members.
