Another angle:

President Trump says a deal will be signed today.

Hours later, Hezbollah launches 6 rocket and drone attacks against northern Israel.

Israel responds with strikes in Beirut.

Iran then turns around and says: “Look, Israel is sabotaging the deal.”

Now we wait to hear President Trump’s response. If Washington places the blame on Israel, it risks creating a precedent where the IRGC and its proxies on Israel’s border can attack at will while Israel is expected not to respond.

I hope that is not the conclusion reached.

Trump is a chump. He is a naïve big-eyes hopeful fool. He is setting himself up for a big disappointment, like when a child discovers there is no Santa Claus.
When it comes to Iran, no deal is ever final. Nothing is ever as it seems. There is always a side-hustle. And nothing is ever enforceable.
Trump is trying to make a "deal" with slippery Satan himself, as so many others have tried and failed before him. (this time will be different ...)

Trump thinks he has to power to calm Satan. Trump is on a fool's quest. He had many opportunities to crush Iran and he squandered them all for his ridiculous 'deal'.

Iran has already managed to get Trump to turn on his former ally Israel in favor of Hezbollah. People see that. People notice that.
How loyal to his friends is Trump really? Judging from how he is behaving toward Israel, Trump is more harsh to his friends than he is to his enemies.
Trump is more harsh to the Kurds and to people of Iran who are/were depending on him than he is to the Mullahs and the IRGC.

Trump went from "I will destroy your civilization!" and "I will only accept "Unconditional Surrender!" to, please sign my piece of paper and I will go away.

Israel has to do what's best for them.

Israel is not going to hold it's fire when Hezbollah keeps attacking them with missiles, so that Trump can make a deal with the country that's providing the missiles!  Hezbollah is doing a great job keeping the heat going and for one rare moment I agree with their efforts!  They are proving what Trump seems to denying, that even if Iran "accepts" the "deal" there will be no end to the killing.

Trump's stupid 'deal' amounts to absolutely nothing at all. It is a form of surrender without surrendering.

Everything in and about Iran will stay exactly as it was before Epic Fury, or even worse than it was before Trump's childish 'deal'.

Trump exited the agreement prohibiting Iran from owning a nuclear weapon- and requiring routine International Atomic Energy Agency inspections in 2018.

“We have spent billions of dollars, we’ve lost 14 personnel killed in action, hundreds wounded, and we disrupted the world economy, and we’re getting basically less than what we had under the JCPOA, which President Trump walked away from,” Reed told host Shannon Bream.

Trump claims Iran peace deal is just 'hours' away, says he blasted Netanyahu in phone call

President Donald Trump says he expects a peace deal with Iran to be signed "in a matter of hours" on Sunday.

Trump made the comments in an interview with Fox News' Trey Yingst, who cautioned that Iran has backed away from negotiations at the last minute multiple times.

Yingst noted that the tensions between Israel and Iran are an "x-factor" for the negotiations after Israel launched strikes against Hezbollah targets in Beirut, a red line for Iran.

Trump publicly condemned Israel's strikes earlier Sunday and called on Israel and all other parties to cease hostilities.

Trump told Yingst that he spoke with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu directly.

Iranian official warns 'strong response is coming' after Israel's strike in Beirut

The head of the Iranian parliament’s National Security Committee warned Sunday that Tehran would retaliate following Israel’s strike in Beirut.

“Today’s crime by the Zionist regime in Dahieh, Beirut, once again proved that the U.S. is weak and lacks credibility, as it is not even capable of controlling this illegitimate regime. A strong response is coming,” Ebrahim Azizi said in a post shared on X.

The comments came as President Donald Trump told Fox News’ Trey Yingst that a deal with Iran would be signed “in a matter of hours."

Earlier Sunday, Trump also publicly condemned the IDF strikes and called on Israel and all other parties to end hostilities.
