When your government is all-in on The Scam, your rights  - to know, to speak, to live under the rule of law - are at risk.

For California's Kooks, Crooks and Commies Coalition: everything is a Bridge to Nowhere, and shut up.
"If all men are created equal, that is final. If they are endowed with inalienable rights, that is final. If governments derive their just powers from the consent of the governed, that is final. No advance, no progress can be made beyond these propositions. If anyone wishes to deny their truth or their soundness, the only direction in which he can proceed historically is not forward, but backward toward the time when there was no equality, no rights of the individual, no rule of the people."    -Calvin Coolidge

Reason Number 3,487 to get the hell out of California, and let it crumble.
I display the Confederate Battle Flag in honor of my great great great grandfathers who spilled blood at Wilson's Creek and Shiloh.  5 others served in the WBTS with honor too.  Note:  Posts may also be allegorical in nature, and not literal.

Big question is will Gov Greaseball sigh it or veto it.

A smart man would veto it.  But Newscum is neither smart or a man.

1. California did not vote for the "Stop Nick Shirley Act". I just voted in the primary, this act was not on my ballot (OTOH, there were, literally, 61 candidates running for governor). "AB####" means it was a bill proposed in the State Assembly. IOW, the Assembly (and the State Senate?) voted for this. I get that Hating on California is a cottage industry among conservative, but it would be nice if influential conservatives tried to be accurate.

2. This bill is patently unconstitutional. So obviously so that even lame-duck Goobernor Noisome might veto it if it is passed. If not vetoed (or a veto were overridden), it won't survive a court challenge.

  • I was a "conspiracy theorist". Now I'm just right.
I'm sure this is unconstitutional. However, if passed, Federal payments should be suspended until such time as it is thrown out.

Seventeen Techniques for Truth Suppression

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.
