1. California did not vote for the "Stop Nick Shirley Act". I just voted in the primary, this act was not on my ballot (OTOH, there were, literally, 61 candidates running for governor). "AB####" means it was a bill proposed in the State Assembly. IOW, the Assembly (and the State Senate?) voted for this. I get that Hating on California is a cottage industry among conservative, but it would be nice if influential conservatives tried to be accurate.
2. This bill is patently unconstitutional. So obviously so that even lame-duck Goobernor Noisome might veto it if it is passed. If not vetoed (or a veto were overridden), it won't survive a court challenge.
