I can put a brick on the gas pedal and make my truck run full speed... Most guns with some major/minor tinkering can be altered in some form or fashion to behave unlike they were designed. I hope Maryland gets slapped down and hard. If this holds, you will have democrats trying to make all guns operate outside their norm to get them banned.

I'm surprised all those inner city geniuses haven't built something like the Thompson, Sten, or the MP 40, which can be built from relatively simple parts and has an open bolt type action.  All they need is a little machining and know how and a barrel.
