A record high stock market doesn't necessarily equate to a booming economy. Not with gas prices, food prices, utilities, etc., at record highs.
Live in  harmony with one another; do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly, do not claim to be wiser than you are.  Do not repay anyone evil for evil, but take thought for what is noble in the sight of all.  If it is possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all.

Inflation makes the dollar worth less. It then takes more dollars to buy those same stocks. The value of the stock didn't go up, the value of the dollar went down.

Can you imagine how bad it would be for people that, like me, have investments as a hedge against inflation.

Yeah.  I know you are gonna have some dumbass response.  Or maybe ignore me.
You don’t become cooler with age but you do care progressively less about being cool, which is the only true way to actually be cool.

It is a hedge on inflation. A lot better than sitting on dollars.

Why the negative waves man?
