The guy caught on camera saying “I would kill him [O’Keefe]” while shooting rifle bullets through his photo… just got a court order to disarm the guy he threatened.

Police showed up today and confiscated James O’Keefe’s firearms.

This is peak clown world. The threatener gets the gun grab. The target gets disarmed.

Maybe one or two besides the EDC, whatever that is.

But always, always have a few where no one can confiscate them - where no one has any idea of where they'd be. Serves to defend my idea of replication when creating a firearms collection.

I have many guns. More than most, I'd bet... But they are mostly the exact same guns in the exact, same calibers... One set are here, and two other sets are up in the sticks in two separate caches. Just try to find them.

What if the Sheriff decides to drag his feet giving the weapons back?  "Sorry, we have to process them first.  Come back 8n a few months."  And James would be well advised to replace the weapons with new ones and "lose" the rest....

James O’Keefe explains why he was forced to give up his firearms before getting them back

James O’Keefe, the founder of O’Keefe Media Group and Project Veritas, was temporarily forced this week to surrender his firearms to West Palm Beach authorities.

The reason why stems from a feud between O’Keefe and former Project Veritas board member Matthew Tyrmand.

On March 31, O’Keefe was served with a domestic violence restraining order from Tyrmand, a guy whom O’Keefe has claimed thinks he’s evil and wants to kill him.

“Despite admitting multiple times on hidden camera wanting me dead, Matthew Tyrmand filed a restraining order against ME in Miami Dade County,” O’Keefe reported at the time on X.

Why was Tyrmand so angry with O’Keefe? Because O’Keefe had exposed him in an undercover investigation a month earlier.

“I conducted an investigation into former Project Veritas board member, Matthew Tyrmand, a man who has repeatedly stated that he wants to kill me, ‘eat my heart out,’ and who even fired a bullet through my image on my book Breakthrough,” O’Keefe revealed in a tweet.

“This individual is the same person who forced me out of the company I founded, Project Veritas,” he added.

There was plenty of bad blood between the two.  Tyrmand got O'Keefe kicked off the board at Project Veritas.  And you are correct, to get a Domestic Restraining Order, Tyrmand should have had to prove a domestic relationship. 

There is something seriously wrong with the Judge that signed the Restraint Order!

Every time that I had seen a judges orders ignored, that judge threaten a contempt charge. Very few times were the contempt charges filed but I do not remember one time that the judge didn't threaten contempt if they thought their order was not followed.

I've known people who have gotten signed Orders from a Judge to immediately return firearms, to be told to wait months to actually have them returned due to "processing."  I have personal experience in this matter!  Sheriffs don't get prosecuted for Contempt!

Hate to admit it, but my mind went there too, then I tried to dismiss it as "not possible". Who knows now days, sure hope not (O'Keef is one of my fave people).
