U.S. forces disabled a commercial vessel attempting to reach an Iranian port after its crew ignored more than 20 warnings, according to a statement posted Saturday by U.S. Central Command on X.

CENTCOM said the Gambia-flagged M/V Lian Star was transiting international waters in the Gulf of Oman toward an Iranian port on May 29 when U.S. forces warned the vessel that it was violating the U.S. blockade.

After the crew failed to comply, a U.S. aircraft fired a Hellfire missile into the ship's engine room, disabling the vessel and preventing it from continuing its voyage, CENTCOM said.

"The ship is no longer transiting to Iran," CENTCOM said.

The military added that U.S. forces have now disabled five commercial vessels and redirected 116 others while enforcing the blockade as a ceasefire with Iran remains in effect.

It would take 25-35 trains to match one oil tanker. Not 25-35 train cars but trains that carry 100 or more cars.

1 tank car holds about 810 barrels so 1235 of them to fill a million barrel ship.

BREAKING: Iran has rejected the US demands to surrender its enriched uranium stockpiles under any circumstances, even if signing the MOU and entering the 60-day negotiation window, with no nuclear discussions being held in that or after that window and no change expected to Iran's nuclear posture, per NYT.

This comes as a faction within Iran's leadership holding Supreme National Security Council representation is now actively working to block any deal with the US regardless of terms due to the excessive demands, per WSJ.

It looks like neither side wants a "ceasefire" (see article below) ... The Pentagon should suspend pursuit of a brokered peace between the two countries and send the representatives from the countries home.

President Donald Trump said Saturday that Iran has agreed to refrain from developing or otherwise acquiring nuclear weapons, a shift he described as a significant concession in ongoing negotiations while warning further military action is still on the table if talks fail.

Tehran has already agreed not to develop a nuclear weapon, the president said on "My View with Lara Trump," but he wanted to ensure they wouldn't be able to simply purchase one, either.

"So now [the agreement] says, 'We will not develop or in any way purchase a military weapon.' That's a big difference. So we're getting what we want slowly — very tough negotiators," Trump said.

"It takes a long time. I'm in no hurry... if you're going to be in a hurry, you're not going to make a good deal."

He said an agreement was preferable because it would allow the Strait of Hormuz to reopen immediately, bringing gasoline prices "tumbling down" and preventing additional casualties.

But if Iran falls short of his terms, "we're going to end it a different way," he added.

When Trump says Iran agrees to such and such....that isn't necessarily true. Maybe one guy in leadership agrees with that but there are others who don't. Just wait a few hours and someone from Iran will say they never said that. And this goes on day after day..... But it will be the greatest peace plan EVER!

Trump has a chance to stun and stop Iran once and for all.

Either we have the firepower, troops, and willingness to finish what was started or we don't.

This continued cat and mouse game needs to STOP!

Waiting for concessions is never going to happen and is only empowering Iran.

IF the lack of concern is indeed correct on Trump's part and Hegseth's part, then we might as well kiss our country good riddance.

Trump is concerned with building a grand ballroom, arch and throwing a 250th Birthday rally. I'd like to know why? The only legacy he's going to leave behind at this point looks like it will be how he allowed the demise of the U.S. This situation falls on no one's lap but his. He can't blame it on Biden nor Obama and in fact, not even Bush, as he started a bombing campaign to rid Iran of their nuclear capabilities, capturing uranium, and sealing the Strait of Hormuz which he has not completed. He has had plenty of opportunity.

I say this with a bit of hesitation, because I'm leaning towards the negativity of which I continue to read as being for the most part true and there's a chance that he still has plans in motion to finish what he started.
