Is this coincidence? Last time 47 almost bombed Iran to oblivion was on a Tuesday a few hours before the deadline. Now its Tuesday again, and 47 was about to bomb Iran again, but a few hours before the deadline, he called it off for more pointless negotiations.

That's been my thinking for the past few days.  Perhaps though this has a lot to do with Articles of Impeachment against Hegseth too.  So let's see, not only have we learned that our allies won't stand with us, Russia and China are arming Iran, Russia and Ukraine are still at odds, the cost of oil is up and the DEMS are delighted!

The US has just called every remaining Iran bluff, while keeping the blockade in place. Iran now has three choices: (1) agree to our terms (with the IRG publicly having to indicate its approval), (2) take the first move to break the ceasefire against a restocked and reinforced US/IDF military force (with the resulting devastating consequences to their country), or (3) start shutting down oil wells and rationing other goods while continuing to incur unsustainable economic losses because of the blockade and related sanctions.

As far as I can tell, no one is coming to save them. China is figuring out that the regime has exhausted its usefulness,  and they are now better off mending fences with the Gulf states than continuing to help Iran. Putin has his own hands full with Ukraine.

That may actually be good news, If Trump is sharp enough to take advantage of it.  Unfortunately, I don't think he will.  I think he's given up on the whole endeavor and is looking for an exit ramp.  Screw the thousands of dead Iranians and the 13 dead American soldiers.
