No time pressure?  Most reports are stating that the ceasefire is for an indefinite period.  :shrug:

Trump confirms no rush on Iran deal, says 'blockade scares them more than bombing'

President Donald Trump confirmed Wednesday that there is “no time pressure” surrounding the ceasefire, or agreeing to a new date for talks with Iran after negotiations stalled on April 12.

Speaking to Fox News’ Martha MacCallum, a day after extending the ceasefire indefinitely with Iran, Trump confimed the “3-5 day window” reported on the extension was “false.”

The president also commented on ships fired at and seized by Iran on Wednesday in the Strait of Hormuz. “They were not U.S. ships,” Trump said, adding that he would be keeping an eye on the situation.

Discussing when the war might come to an end, Trump said there was “no time frame” and no rush.

“People say I want to get it over because of the midterms, not true,” Trump stated, adding that the administration wanted to “get a good deal for the American people.”

“The blockade scares them even more than the bombing,” Trump said of the Iranian regime. “They’ve been bombed for years but the blockade they hate.”

“Once those wells go down, sometimes they are down for good,” Trump added.

Trump also said Iranian Foreign Minister, Abbas Araghachi was a smart man and that he expected “he will still be there when talks get underway again.”...........

Trump doesn't know what the hell he's doing now.  I guess there was no Plan B if the Iranians didn't surrender after three weeks of bombing.

LONDON/NEW DELHI, April 22 (Reuters) - The U.S. military has intercepted at least three Iranian-flagged tankers in ‌Asian waters and is redirecting them away from their positions near India, Malaysia and Sri Lanka, shipping and security sources said on Wednesday.
Washington has imposed a blockade on Iran's trade by sea while Iran has fired on ships to prevent them sailing through the Strait of Hormuz waterway at the entrance to the Middle ​East Gulf. Nearly two months after the U.S. and Israel began their war on Iran, there is little sign of peace ​talks resuming during an uneasy ceasefire.

The closure of the strait has disrupted supply of a fifth of the ⁠world's oil and gas supplies, and caused a global energy crisis. U.S. forces have seized an Iranian cargo ship and an oil tanker in ​recent days. Iran said it had captured two container ships seeking to exit the Gulf via the Strait of Hormuz on Wednesday after firing ​on them and another vessel, its first seizures since the war began.
The U.S. has diverted at least three more Iranian-flagged oil tankers in recent days, according to two US and Indian shipping sources and two separate Western maritime security source who spoke to Reuters on Wednesday.............

Live updates: US citizens urged to leave Iran immediately

The United States Department of State on Wednesday urged American citizens in Iran to leave the country immediately, following the partial reopening of Iranian airspace.

The travel advisory said the situation remains uncertain and urged U.S. citizens to act quickly, monitor local media for updates, and consult commercial carriers for available flights.

For those unable to fly, the advisory outlined land border options via Armenia, Azerbaijan, Türkiye, and Turkmenistan. Officials also noted that Azerbaijan’s land borders remain closed to routine traffic and require prior government approval.
