Excerpt:
A short but powerful street debate is blowing up online, and it perfectly captures why the abortion debate is so lopsided when logic meets emotion.

A calm, backpack-wearing college student calmly dismantled the “my body, my choice” argument in front of two young female abortion supporters. The exchange happened during a street outreach by the pro-life group Abolitionists Rising.

One of the women declared, “I’m against you guys telling women what to do with their bodies.”

A young man asked, “We can’t have a moral opinion?”

“Not on my body,” she shot back.

If this clip is any indication, then Kirk left America’s young men in a very good place.

  • Ah, the air is so much fresher here...
I don't know any part of a woman's body that's conceived with half of another person's DNA, only stays 9 months, then goes off to be it's own independent and sentient being. Yet somehow women think they have to kill it while they're in control of it.

I also like invective from the girl about men keeping it in their pants till they're married, yet those rules don't seem to apply to them. Are they not in control of their own bodies?
The Republic is lost.

  • I was a "conspiracy theorist". Now I'm just right.
Completely left out of the whole argument is the fact that half of the DNA in that child is the Father's, yet he has no say whatsoever.

Seventeen Techniques for Truth Suppression

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

A woman who was telling a man that he wasn’t allowed to tell women what to do with their bodies then proceeded to tell that same man what to do with his.
If a political party does not have its foundation in the determination to advance a cause that is right and that is moral, then it is not a political party; it is merely a conspiracy to seize power.     -Dwight Eisenhower-

"The [U.S.] Constitution is a limitation on the government, not on private individuals ... it does not prescribe the conduct of private individuals, only the conduct of the government ... it is not a charter for government power, but a charter of the citizen's protection against the government."     -Ayn Rand-

Many years ago when "feminist" (sic) attorney, Gloria Allred, had her own radio show in L.A., I called in.  At that time Jack Kevorkian, M.D. was helping aged adults in pain commit suicide.  It was "their choice and their bodies," truly.

I said, "Gloria, why don't you stand up for Jack Kevorkian, who is on trial for murder, helping people make their "choice"?  Gloria was stumped.  She bought time.  "We'll be right back after this commercial."  Ho, ho ho.  After a lengthy commercial break, Gloria said, "I would defend Dr. Kevorkian under three conditions.  1.  The patient gets a second opinion.  2.  There is a three month waiting period, and 3.  Dr. Kevorkian gets no money for his help."    I rebutted, "Well Gloria, would you impose those same three conditions for women seeking abortions?"  Gloria, "OH NOOOO!  Next caller please. Click."
