Many years ago when "feminist" (sic) attorney, Gloria Allred, had her own radio show in L.A., I called in. At that time Jack Kevorkian, M.D. was helping aged adults in pain commit suicide. It was "their choice and their bodies," truly.
I said, "Gloria, why don't you stand up for Jack Kevorkian, who is on trial for murder, helping people make their "choice"? Gloria was stumped. She bought time. "We'll be right back after this commercial." Ho, ho ho. After a lengthy commercial break, Gloria said, "I would defend Dr. Kevorkian under three conditions. 1. The patient gets a second opinion. 2. There is a three month waiting period, and 3. Dr. Kevorkian gets no money for his help." I rebutted, "Well Gloria, would you impose those same three conditions for women seeking abortions?" Gloria, "OH NOOOO! Next caller please. Click."
