Reminder, civilian & non-law enforcement support staff for ICE & CBP have not been paid for half of the last 6 months when you factor in last fall’s 43 day shutdown on top of this one.

These support staff are NOT paid via the OBBB and they are hurting badly w/ CBP & ICE unfunded

I hope they do, but I bet they won't.

Without the public pressure of delayed/cancelled flights and extremely long lines what pressure will there be for the Rats to capitulate. They love the office staff of TSA and CBP not being paid and the Coast Guard doesn't get any recognition. I understand why Pres. Trump is paying the TSA workers, but I think it was a tactical mistake.

I suspect that's why Thune, Barraso and the rest of the Pub Loyalists did the deal in the middle of the night. They don't want the illegals deported. They represent the lower labor cost wing of the Pub party just as the Rats want the illegals to ultimately replace their lost voters. The next big push will be "now that we got the criminals out, lets talk about amnesty for the rest".
