That fellow would find himself being called a nickname for one of his body parts (hint: starts with a D, ends in K).

Probably more like toothpick.

Talarico's beard revealed:

Dem. Senate candidate James Talarico’s mysterious girlfriend revealed — and she’s vegan
By Josh Christenson and

NY Post

He’s no Tofu Talarico — but he’s got a tofu-loving girlfriend.

Texas Democratic Senate candidate James Talarico’s mysterious beau is a vegan political lobbyist who previously worked as his chief of staff, The Post has learned.

Brianna Menard, 30, describes herself as a “committed vegan,” yoga buff and cat mom who likes “dancing the night away” at local gay bar Cheer Up Charlies in Austin, according her bio at a local food coop, where she serves on the board.

“James is not and never has been a vegan, much to his girlfriend’s chagrin. As the saying goes, true love conquers all,” said Talarico spokesman JT Ennis in a statement Friday.

Despite Menard’s dietary preferences, Talarico — a state lawmaker who dominated the Lone Star State’s Senate Democratic primary in March — has dismissed rumors of his own vegan-ness as “fighting words” after his Republican rival, former Texas attorney general Ken Paxton, accused him of being meat-free. ...

Low-T alarico is shown on a video eating BBQ ribs. It is a weak attempt to convince Texans he is not a gay ass vegan young boy crotch sniffer.

It is hilarious.

I just I had my dreaded 3 hour phone call with my Austin sibling.  They worked in the same area of the capital as Paxton and of course they hate Paxton.  They are going to send money to Talarico.....total insanity.  I mentioned all of the crap Talarico stands for, which they don't agree with but are going to vote against Paxton.  I give up......  There's something in the Austin water.

Every ad you see is a few cents wasted by Talarico....lol. You're doing your part without lifting a finger!
That's why I keep deleting DNC e-mails (often unread) instead of hitting 'unsubscribe'. That, and the more voters they think they have the less they will have stacked up in boxes under the table or in the van outside.

Texas Democrat Senate Candidate James Talarico Says Bible ‘Silent on Abortion’

Texas Democrat Senate candidate James Talarico, who is running against Republican state Attorney General Ken Paxton, claimed during an interview released on Monday that the Bible is “silent on abortion.”

Talarico, who claims to be a Christian and is a Presbyterian seminarian, used his faith to defend the killing of unborn babies through abortion, telling Jamie Kern Lima he does not believe the issue is “a place for politicians.”

“I don’t believe it’s a place for the state,” Talarico said. “And that’s a belief I hold not despite my faith, but because of my faith. Jesus never talks about abortion. The Bible is silent on abortion. And when that happens with a social issue as important as abortion, we Christians have to take scripture as a whole.”

James Talarico has voted NO on every medical freedom bill in Texas.
His former COS Brianna Menard now works for TEXPAC, the pro-mandate, pro-abortion, pro-censorship political arm of the Texas Medical Association.

Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you

Jeremiah 1:5

Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer, and He who formed you from the womb:  “I am the Lord, who makes all things

Isaiah 44:24

For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother’s womb.
I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
Marvelous are Your works, and that my soul knows very well.
My frame was not hidden from You, when I was made in secret, and skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.
Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed.  And in Your book they all were written

Psalm 139:13-16

But they mingled with the Gentiles and learned their works;
They served their idols, which became a snare to them.
They even sacrificed their sons and their daughters to demons,
And shed innocent blood, the blood of their sons and daughters,
Whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan; and the land was polluted with blood.
Thus they were defiled by their own works, and played the harlot by their own deeds.

Pslam106:35-39

Talarico Faces Questions About Relationship With Former Staffer, Abortion Lobbyist

Texas Scorecard  by Brandon Waltens June 1, 2026

The Democrat Senate candidate says he began dating former chief of staff Brianna Menard after she left his office, but the campaign declined to answer additional questions about staff relationships and lawmakers dating lobbyists.

As Democrat U.S. Senate candidate James Talarico is now publicly discussing a long-term romantic relationship that he previously kept private, questions are emerging about when the relationship began and whether it overlapped with his girlfriend’s employment in his legislative office.

Recently, Talarico revealed that he has been dating the same woman for roughly four years.

Based on public records, social media posts, and legislative employment histories, that woman has been identified as Brianna Menard, a former top aide who worked in Talarico’s office before later becoming a lobbyist for the Texas Medical Association.

Legislative employment records show Menard served in Talarico’s office for several years, rising from legislative director to chief of staff before departing in early 2023.

The timeline has drawn scrutiny because Talarico has publicly stated the relationship has lasted approximately four years. Menard remained employed in his office until early 2023, meaning a four-year relationship would overlap with at least part of her tenure as his chief of staff.

The Talafreakco Menace

Lawrence Person's BattleSwarm Blog 6/1/2026

Now that Ken Paxton is officially the Republican nominee for the U.S. Senate, we can finally turn our full attention to the absolute freakshow the Democrats have selected to run against him.

In case you hadn’t noticed, James Talarico is an cringey weirdo who is deeply out of step with the state he wants to represent. So here’s a roundup.
Don’t be fooled by desperate attempts to spin Talarico as a moderate.

After cruising to the Democrat nomination for U.S. Senate in March, James Talarico now appears focused on a different challenge: convincing Texas general election voters he is more moderate than the progressive activist Republicans have spent years watching online.

Republicans are already framing the effort as a “moderate media makeover” ahead of what is expected to become the most expensive Senate race in U.S. history.

During an interview with CBS News the day after Paxton won the Republican Senate runoff, officially setting the general-election matchup, Talarico was asked about his assertion that there are six sexes and a 2021 statement in which he said, “God is non-binary.”

“What did you mean by that?” the interviewer asked. “Do you regret describing it that way?”

“God can’t be defined by human categories,” replied Talarico. “There are some statements I’ve made that I regret. Ken Paxton is intentionally clipping my cringey comments.”

Yeah, because he said them. Why are they cringey? Because they reflect Talarico’s empty-headed, far-left social justice warrior blatherings. If he didn’t mean them, why did he say them? Was he lying then, or is he lying now? Or is he, like so many Democrat politicians, simply “post-truth” and willing to say anything he thinks people want to hear?

In one recent appearance on the Texas Take podcast, Talarico attempted to downplay his past support for gun control measures, insisting that “I’m not interested in taking anyone’s guns.”

I seem to remember a lot of similar statements from Colorado and Virginia Democrats who, after getting elected, immediately started trying to take people’s guns.

The more I think of this picture the more I have to laugh.
Democrats are straight up delusional. They are tanking hard with men so their solution is to shove forward this limp wristed Talarico clown who hates everything real Texas stands for.
Now they slap a pristine cowboy hat and five o’clock shadow on him and parade him around like some cheap parody of the oil field grit, ranching, farming, and hunting culture we live every day. Real Texans smell this plastic consultant bullshit from a mile away. We’re not voting for this manboy.

I notice he always has the standard "rolled up sleeves" Democrats always pose in, ala O'Bastard.  I noticed in the photo with His Beard, he wore a pair of shorts with a long sleeve button-down shirt, just to make the rolled up sleeves fashion statement.

Everything is style over substance with these fakers.  Brother Rush Limbaugh had these punks down, decades ago!
I don’t owe tolerance to people who disagree with my existence.
I will NOT comply.

“Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it.  Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.
“Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves.  You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles?  Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit.  A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit.  Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.  Therefore by their fruits you will know them.

The Talarico Two Step

The Post & Email by David Shephard 6/2/2026

Democratic Senate Nominee Tries to Spin his Past ‘Provocative’ Statements.

Over the weekend I watched James Talarico’s interview on CBS with Ed O’Keefe. O’Keefe, a fellow Democrat, almost apologetically asked Talarico about some of his previous statements. A seemingly and slightly uncomfortable O’Keefe justified asking such impertinent questions, telling Talarico, “Republicans are going to bring it up”; indeed, they already have, with a great hard-hitting ad. Despite the fact that it was a typical CBS softball interview of a Democrat, it was still useful to watch, because it was indicative of Talarico’s strategy going forward, which is to try to minimize his past comments and then attack his opponent. In fact, in the interview, at the end of every question, no matter the question, Talarico attacks Paxton.

Back in 2021, as a state representative, James Talarico argued against a bill which would prevent biological boys, if they self-identified as girls, from playing on the girls’ sports teams in Texas schools. Talarico, a man who claimed to be very knowledgeable of the Bible, invoked the name of God and claimed that God would oppose this bill because “God is non-binary.” How has Talarico arrived at this conclusion?

He cites Galatians 3:28, where Paul writes: “There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.” Talarico clearly misunderstands this passage – this is probably what you get nowadays when you go to a liberal Presbyterian seminary as he did. It is clear Paul is not denying that there are different genders (male and female) any more than he is denying the fact of slavery or that there are Jews and Greeks. His point is that first and foremost we are all children of God. In his interview with O’Keefe, Talarico didn’t back away from his heresy; he simply said that he did say it to be “provocative.”

He also made previous statements about white people spreading the virus of racism, and how his Christian faith helped deal with his “whiteness and masculinity.” He described the American flag as “being a complicated symbol.” He never explained what he meant by these thoughts, but he did say that “there are some statements that I have made that I certainly regret. There are statements that I have made where I have missed the mark. I will be the first to admit that.”

Same Script, Different Interview: Talarico’s Memorized Talking Point Goes Viral

Legal Insurrection by Elizabeth Stauffer 6/2/2026

“Safe to say Talarico rehearsed this line very thoroughly.”

Politicians of every stripe rely on talking points, and voters generally understand that campaign appearances often feature a well-rehearsed stump speech. But interviews are supposed to be different. When reporters ask questions, candidates are expected to at least give the impression that they are engaging in a genuine conversation rather than reciting lines from a script.

That’s why a pair of recent interviews with Texas state Rep. James Talarico raised eyebrows. As YouTuber Matt Christiansen was preparing for his show on Sunday, he noticed something unusual: Talarico delivered the exact same response — verbatim — in two separate interviews last week, creating the distinct impression that he had memorized the answer in advance.

Christiansen posted clips of Talarico reciting the remarks to interviewers at CBS and MSNBC on X Sunday, writing, “Safe to say Talarico rehearsed this line very thoroughly.” Indeed.

In an apparent effort to convey that his campaign is attracting support beyond the Democratic base, Talarico offered the following account in both interviews:

I’ve gone to every corner of this state over the course of this campaign, from Beaumont to El Paso, from Amarillo to Brownsville, and everywhere in between. And we have had tens of thousands of Texans showing up to rally with us and I can’t tell you the number of people who come up to me at the end of these events and whisper, ‘I’m not a Democrat.’

But he also comes across as inauthentic, particularly as he pivots toward the general election and attempts to distance himself from some of his earlier remarks. In fact, it’s hard not to notice how frequently people reach for the word “inauthentic” when discussing Talarico.

Perhaps nothing illustrates that better than the now-famous image of Talarico biting into a turkey drumstick while trying to look as though he’s savoring it — a moment that, once seen, is hard to unsee.

Someone pointed out it's a Columbia Sportswear shirt, not the usual brand you'd see at a TX rodeo. At first, I thought it was a dress shirt. I guess he couldn't get to Brooks Brothers for something authentically rustic.
