It was around the time Donald was in competition with Ted Cruz for the Republican nomination. I'm curious where everybody is at with it now.
The next nomination that I was hoping for was DeSantis. Obviously that didn't pan out but I was elated when Harris lost to Trump as that would have been a nightmare.
I have always thought that Trump would be good for the economy (both his first term and this term). He's hit some roadblocks with liberal justices, including those on the SCOTUS.
Both his first and second SOTU speeches were significantly superior to past SOTU speeches given by other presidents.
For the most part I think Trump has done well, (except for calming the riots). He has been successful especially at the border and on ILLEGAL immigration, but let me also add that I was a huge supporter of Cruz. I think he'd make one heck of an AG and Trump is wasting his time with Bondi. She's is a waste of space and energy.
I was hoping with a full majority that the GOP would get off their butts and actually pass some useful legislation for Trump to sign but as usual, they are proving for the most part to be lackadaisical.
The battle with Iran to me is anyone's guess as to how it's going to go but I believe Trump made the necessary call by getting rid of the Ayatollah.
Now that I've answered your question, I'd like to know how your assessment of things since Cruz was unfortunately defeated
