Not a cabbage fan either. 
Oh yeah...
Coin up a kielbasa (you can get turkey/chicken kielbasa that is only terrible for salt) and sear it both sides... pull it off and hold it for later.
fry up onion, g.pepper, and celery till the celery has a soft bite and the onions are just starting to caramelize.
Add in about a quarter of a cabbage, cut to about 1/2" coins and then busted up... cover to aid in wilting... stir occaisionally till the cabbage has a soft bite.
Add back the kielbasa coins and stir em in... just long enough to heat em up. Spices according to taste.
That right there is a very nice meal... You can add in brussel sprouts if you'd like.
