Was watching these police detectives on a podcast this evening.  One of their theories is that the son in law may be tied in some way to the California guy that texted the daughters phone and son in law's phone asking where the bitcoin money was.  He is the one now in custody in Arizona.  This may have been a plot by the son in law....hmmmm.  Interesting theory...

Weeks into Nancy Guthrie case and the public has not been asked to look out for any type of car.  Reminder, Tucson says it does not have traffic cameras that record.  Pima County says it does have cameras but they're not always crystal clear.  Of course, look at Nancy's Nest cam -- if Feds want video of a car they may just find it, but in general NO description of ANY car in this day and age with cameras everywhere seems remarkable.

Odd that cell phone records for the area are not picking up anything for vehicles. Most cars these days are cell phone connected and if there was a cell phone in the car then that can be tied to a vehicle if/when it passes by a camera.

Geofence warrants being a thing these days I am deeply surprised that this has not happened.

Anonymous donor drops $100K to help find missing Nancy Guthrie

An anonymous $100,000 donation significantly increased the reward in the search for missing 84-year-old Nancy Guthrie, the Pima County Sheriff's Office confirmed Wednesday.

88-CRIME in Arizona announced it received the donation, boosting its reward offer in the case to $102,500. The organization shared the update on Facebook.

The increased 88-CRIME reward is separate from the FBI’s reward offer. The FBI is not involved in administering any non-FBI rewards.

The FBI continues to offer a reward of up to $100,000 for information leading to Guthrie’s location or the arrest and conviction of anyone involved in her disappearance.

Polygraph tests conducted as officials promise update on Guthrie case

Fox News has learned polygraph tests are being conducted at the Pima County Sheriff’s Department amid the ongoing search for Nancy Guthrie.

While authorities would not confirm the tests are connected to the case, the sheriff’s department promised “an update is coming soon.”

Did we ever hear who dropped Nancy off at home after dinner ar her daughter's?  Did the driver just drop her off in front of the house or go in with her? I mean, she's  an unhealthy 84 y/o woman  - wouldn't  you make sure she got inside safe & sound if it were your relative?
