I see the left using every crumb of innuendo they can to attack the President. If he has a friend named Ichabod, and in the files it mentions that Ichabod was NOT invited to 47 different parties, the Left will go to the microphones and cameras with "Trump close associate mentioned 47 times in Epstein Files". No context, "guilt" by association, even though the mention was one of not associating with Ichabod, nor Ichabod associating with Epstein.
Don't misunderstand me - I see that too - Albeit that I care lees about it than you seem to, primarily because Tumpy takes no end of pleasure in getting the left white-hot pissed, so quite a bit of his martyr act is by his own design.

Sorta. More to the point, if he had not misread John Q Public, there would be no investigation *at all*. He tried over and and over and over again to tamp it back down and make it go away. Because of that, I am less likely to give him credit.
I find it interesting that he is using, by accident or design, Cloward-Piven against the very hostile media which tried to use it against him. It is as if they don't know which thing to protest to put above the fold. For now, it is Iran.
