The problem with reflexively dismissing people who claim to have had extraordinary experiences or who have outrageous claims is that sociopaths will exploit this reflex to cover up their atrocities.

I've had extreme experiences and for the most part I do not discuss them because people prefer to believe that such things don't happen. Yet they do.
I hope you are having the epiphany that evidence should form your opinions and that your opinions should not select your evidence.

I am largely evidence based - Maybe more than most.
With most of these things, I will skitter my fingers across the issue, rack it up under 'To Be Determined', and then move along until more evidence becomes available. That's my default mode.
That being said, I have also spent a whole lot of time way back in the bush - Probably more time than pretty near anyone you know.
So what I have seen and can confirm with my own lying eyes is way different than most too...
Like I have seen literally hundreds of examples of things in the sky moving too fast and turning too fast to be made by Man.
I know they're out there, and have for many years.
Twice in my life I have put my hand into the indisputable track of a sasquatch.
I know they're there too.
And I have also seen a wolf track in pristine condition that was larger than the front of my Muks, and I have personally seen a 'little people'
The things above are not in contention for me. I have seen em with my own eyes. That might not convince you, but then, you do you.

I don't care to change that. But what I know in my own mind will not be moved.
So don't take me for an unyielding sort, because that ain't right.

Still, it has to be said, the tinfoil hatters are batting 1000.
