If I imagine this on MY block, I'd be tempted to have the rifle or shotgun by the door, and I'd be packing heat at home. No one likes living with that sort of stress, especially people who are being fed nonsense that ICE is just rounding up peaceful and productive members of the community who just happen to be illegals. And those in on the whole scam, who benefit from it, directly or indirectly, will be doubly opposed, even if they aren't out in the streets contributing to the mayhem.

President Donald Trump's administration is preparing 1,500 troops for potential deployment to Minnesota, The Washington Post reported Sunday citing unnamed defense officials.

Neither the White House nor the Pentagon have directly confirmed the deployment plans, but the White House told the Post in a statement that the Department of War should be "prepared for any decision the President may or may not make."

The Pentagon did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Fox News Digital.

The report comes just days after Trump threatened to invoke the Insurrection Act to deploy U.S. military forces to Minnesota if state officials do not start cracking down on anti-ICE agitators.

"If the corrupt politicians of Minnesota don’t obey the law and stop the professional agitators and insurrectionists from attacking the Patriots of I.C.E., who are only trying to do their job, I will institute the INSURRECTION ACT," Trump posted on his Truth Social platform.

Minneapolis and St. Paul are already hosting some 3,000 federal agents deployed there after a massive fraud scandal rocked the state late last year.

Protesters across the Twin Cities have followed and harassed federal agents as they carry out operations, leading to confrontations and the killing of activist Renee Nicole Good by federal agents in the opening days of January.

Right-Wing Activist Stabbed, Beaten By Leftist Mob In Minneapolis

Jake Lang, a controversial right-wing activist, was beaten and stabbed by a leftist mob in Minneapolis on Saturday. Several other right-wing activists, as well as random citizens, were also attacked amid escalating political violence in the city.

Lang, 29, is a former January 6 defendant who spent nearly four years in custody before being pardoned by President Donald Trump last July. Since being released, Lang has staged a number of provocative protests, typically against the growth of Islam in the United States.

This past November, he traveled to Dearborn, Michigan — which boasts one of the nation’s largest Muslim communities — to burn a Quran publicly. He staged a similar display in Texas a month later.

On Saturday, he traveled to Minneapolis for a similar anti-Islam display. He arrived with roughly 10 supporters, shouting slogans like “Send the Somalis back,” “We stand with ICE,” ahead of a planned rally outside the Bishop Henry Whipple Federal Building and Minneapolis City Hall.

Violence erupted less than an hour into the event, as a much larger crowd of leftist counterprotestors overwhelmed Lang’s group. The mob threw water balloons, snowballs, and other objects, while some charged at Lang and his supporters, footage from the scene shows.

The chaos peaked when Lang was pulled into the crowd, punched, and dragged by his legs, forcing him to flee to a nearby hotel and later escape in a car while being chased. Footage shows Lang bleeding from the crown of his head, while at least one member of the mob stabbed him in the chest.

He was wearing a chest plate at the time, which saved him from potentially fatal injuries. The chest plate was later stolen by the mob and paraded around as a trophy on social media.
