Yep we watched all of the landing on TV. One landing I was in a remote Mexican village - every one there was enthralled and glued to the village TV. Everyone was filled with Hope - capital.

That's what I was thinking as we watched a documentary on the Science Channel the other night about all the training and engineering that went into the Apollo missions. If the Q Anon nuts are right about the fakery, that's thousands of NASA employees, contractors, astronauts, military personnel, not to mention the moviemaking people, and all their families ... all keeping the secret safe and secure for decades. Amazing.

Modern Russian and Chinese lunar missions have independently confirmed physical evidence of the Apollo sites.

Chinese lunar probes (Chang’e series) have photographed Apollo landing sites from orbit (e.g., Chang’e-2 in 2010, Chang’e-5 T1 in 2014), showing tracks, landers, and footprints exactly where NASA said they would be.
