OFFICIAL STATEMENT:

The Department of War has received serious allegations of misconduct against Captain Mark Kelly, USN (Ret.). In accordance with the Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 U.S.C. § 688, and other applicable regulations, a thorough review of these allegations has been initiated to determine further actions, which may include recall to active duty for court-martial proceedings or administrative measures. This matter will be handled in compliance with military law, ensuring due process and impartiality. Further official comments will be limited, to preserve the integrity of the proceedings.
 
The Department of War reminds all individuals that military retirees remain subject to the UCMJ for applicable offenses, and federal laws such as 18 U.S.C. § 2387 prohibit actions intended to interfere with the loyalty, morale, or good order and discipline of the armed forces. Any violations will be addressed through appropriate legal channels.
 
All servicemembers are reminded that they have a legal obligation under the UCMJ to obey lawful orders and that orders are presumed to be lawful.  A servicemember’s personal philosophy does not justify or excuse the disobedience of an otherwise lawful order.

The Pentagon has opened a probe into “serious allegations of misconduct” against Sen. Mark Kelly that could result in court-martial proceedings, just days after President Trump accused him of seditious behavior.

Secretary of War Pete Hegseth strongly implied that the investigation revolves around a recent video Kelly (D-Ariz) and five other veteran Democrats cut, imploring service members to “refuse illegal orders.” The video had drawn Trump’s wrath and accusations of treason.

And sadly, most people will only listen to the assertation without requiring a backup explanation.
People read the headlines, not the story.
Often the story does nothing to support or substantiate the headline.
It's cheap pejoratives that are based on nothing, but gain credibly with those who don't think beccause the allegations are in bold print and a larger font size.
It is the headlines that are being used to manipulate those too lazy to find out.

Monday on CNN’s “The Arena,” Sen. Ruben Gallego (D-AZ) said Secretary of War Pete Hegseth was a “coward” for launching an investigation into Sen. Mark Kelly (D-AZ) over a propaganda video that Kelly and other Democratic lawmakers made instructing military personnel not to follow so-called illegal orders.

Gallego said, “I spoke to Senator Kelly as soon as I heard it, I got on the phone and called him, of course, to remind him that I am 100% here in support of him and that we’re proud of him and like him I will not be intimidated by this president or any of his lackeys.”

He added, they’re trying to intimidate members of the House of Representatives and Senate that were saying something that’s very common and very well understood among people in the military, something that we hear in boot camp and in reminders when we’re on active duty, that you don’t have to follow illegal orders.”

Host Kasie Hunt said, “What would you say directly to Pete Hegseth, the Secretary of Defense? Of course, renamed the Secretary of War about this issue?”

Gallego said, “I think number one you will never, ever, ever even be half the man that Senator Kelly is. You, sir, are a coward. And the fact that you are following this order from the president shows how big of a coward you are. And I can’t wait till you no longer are the Secretary of Defense.”

Kelly is the only one that can be recalled to AD for this from the Seditious 6.


He's the one drawing a retirement check from the DoW.  That's makes him eligible to be recalled.


Crow didn't retire he just got out after his time was up on his obligation after ROTC.
