Just days after Pelosi announced she won’t run for reelection in 2026, Greene, once calling her a “traitor” guilty of “treason punishable by death” in a 2019 Facebook rant, flipped the script. “I will praise Nancy Pelosi,” Greene told Pamela Brown on *The Situation Room*. “She had an incredible career for her party. I served under her speakership in my first term of Congress, and I’m very impressed at her ability to get things done.” She even wished Pelosi well in retirement, joking about term limits while jabbing at GOP leadership.




Apparently, all she ever wanted was to be relevant. When the conservatives figured out she was a grifte,r she had to grift to the left in able to become “relevant”, again. I am so disappointed in myself for not seeing this sooner.

I have known southern gals with a talent for saying things one way that come out completely different in print, even word for word.

Admittedly, Pelosi did have an ability to get things done.

That does not mean I agreed with what she got done, nor the way she did it, but as opponents go she has been formidable.

We don't have to like anything about her in order to admit that, from her ability to get legislation rammed through ('You have to pass it to find out what's in it') to the refused National Guard and likely three letter agency coordinated agents provocateur to achieve the end result of getting the 2020 electoral vote certified without a peep of objection, she got stuff done.
Pity we don't have a herd of people that effective on our side.
Yes, I wish her well in retirement (bless her heart), because her ass won't be on Capitol Hill.

President Trump’s political team nuked Greene’s plans to run for Senate in Georgia, telling her that she could not beat the incumbent, Jon Ossoff.

Given her high personal negative ratings among independents and even some Republicans, that rings true.   

She's been pissed off ever since, and is also reportedly considering a run for President in '28.

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., praised Rep. Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., after the former speaker of the House announced she was retiring from Congress.

Pelosi announced on Thursday that she will be retiring when her term ends and will not seek re-election. When asked by CNN's Wolf Blitzer for her reaction, Greene said her immediate reaction was that she believes in term limits but praised the accomplishments of Pelosi's four-decade career in the House.

"I’m very impressed at her ability to get things done," Greene said. "I wish we could get things done for our party like Nancy Pelosi was able to deliver for her party. So, I wish her well in her retirement, but I would like to see people exit Washington a lot sooner rather than wait until their eighties."

As the government shutdown continues to drag on, Greene has been calling out leadership of her own party for failing to enforce the "America First" agenda.

"I’m America First, and I don’t apologize for that, and I believe Congress, both Democrats and Republicans, should be serving the American people," she said. "And when you campaign on America First, it’s like having a restaurant advertising like a certain type of food, and then and then you don’t deliver America First, and then your customers come in your restaurant and there’s the food is totally different, and they’re like, ‘Wait a minute, this isn‘t what I was coming in for,’ You’re not going to have those return customers."

When asked about what she would critique or do differently from Trump, she argued that the president has not focused on the agenda he was elected to do.

"My critique is not being focused on America First, but I largely blame that on our Congress because I serve in the House. I also blame that on who‘s advising him in the White House," she said. "You know, keeping him on nonstop tours around the world and nonstop meetings with foreign countries' leaders is not America First. It‘s just not. I think domestic policy should be the most important issue that the president and the Republican-controlled house and Senate are working on."
