I'm not sure where to stand on this idea.
For unvaccinated, we are looking at a winter of severe illness and death — if you’re unvaccinated — for themselves, their families, and the hospitals they’ll soon overwhelm. Sloe Joe Biteme 12/16
I will NOT comply.

The solution was posted right here the other day.

"I wish it need not have happened in my time," said Frodo.

"So do I," said Gandalf, "and so do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us."

  • Ah, the air is so much fresher here...
I will admit I have never been a fan of the filibuster though I can understand the arguments for it. I know the Founders put in checks and balances in to slow down the pace of Government from doing kneejerk things, but to me it always was a bridge too far. No state I'm aware of has the filibuster and we have many well run states despite that.
The Republic is lost.

Caught it and read it - I could live with that. Puts on the handbrake but doesn't allow it to be used for obstruction,

It's the way the senate was supposed to operate!

Just ask yourself how that worked out for Harry Reid and the Democrats when they first opened that Pandora's Box?

I thought it went back to approving some judge on the GOP side in W term? That's where the term "nuclear option" even comes from.

Really both sides are hypocrites on this issue.

Don't think if the Dems get back in power they will not do the same and end the filly.  So maybe Trump is right to do it now and take advantage of his congressional advantage.
You don’t become cooler with age but you do care progressively less about being cool, which is the only true way to actually be cool.
