I imagine the demographic shift of Concealed Carry would be upsetting to certain segments of the population that already have no problem with the law say-so in the matter.
Want to cement the crime, make it where you can lawfully "DEFEND" oneself from those that brandish weapons in threatening manners. Even if they are running the opposite direction by the time one gets a bead on them. The arguement that "they are trying to get away" does little comfort to those that realize they will be coming back later for revenge because they didn't get their way the first time.
Stop the silly "it is just stuff that can be replaced" argument and remind folks that what may seem like "just stuff" to one party may be a generational hard fight for another to reattain. I am not a rich man, if someone is stealing my tools from my shed, it is not something I would take lightly because it was hard fought to obtain and I can't just go buy more. I can't afford to lose what took me a lifetime to build up to some person that wants to buy drugs and ship the drug money back to China/Mexico/South America.
Make crime pay enough with instant "karma", and young males actually pay attention. That includes the court system that has been plastered with liberal judges that care more for criminals than hard working Americans.
