Mentioned on another thread that this might be the best thing to happen.
A mid August Cat 5 storm lasting a week or two, and not impacting any land (likely). This churning ought to drop the temp of the ATL, and help suppress others.
OTOH, the Gulf of America is a cauldron of heat right now, and not a whole lot of lows, or other met features to prevent a big storm. Historically , this isn't a good trend for our parts (TX-FL)
