He's going to run into all kinds of Constitutional issues by expelling DC citizens, homeless or not, from their city.  I think that's probably a bridge too far, and am uncomfortable about it myself.  Very similar to what dictators do when they want to construct a "Potemkin Village" for public consumption.

I have no use for squatters.  Frankly, I doubt he will do anything that is considered harsh, brutal, etc.  He is talking about removing them from the capitol of this nation.  Frankly, they have zero rights squatting on whatever land they are on.  Where they go does not matter.  He will not intern them into a camp similar to what was done to the Japanese.

President Trump announced on Sunday that his news conference on Monday will deal with the "beautification" of the nation's capital, adding that Washington, D.C. Mayor Murial Bowser has had "many chances" to fix the crime problem.

"The Press Conference on Crime and 'Beautification' will be held tomorrow, at 10:00 A.M. EST, in the Press Briefing Room, and it will not only involve ending the Crime, Murder, and Death in our Nation’s Capital, but will also be about Cleanliness and the General Physical Renovation and Condition of our once beautiful and well maintained Capital," Trump wrote on Truth Social.

"The Mayor of D.C., Muriel Bowser, is a good person who has tried, but she has been given many chances, and the Crime Numbers get worse, and the City only gets dirtier and less attractive. The American Public is not going to put up with it any longer," he added.

Trump also mentioned the Federal Reserve building renovation that is taking place.

"We are not going to allow people to spend $3.1 Billion Dollars on fixing up a building, like the Federal Reserve, which could have been done in a far more elegant and time sensitive manner for $50 to $100 Million Dollars," he wrote on social media.

"The Renovation would have actually been better, and we would have saved $3 Billion Dollars, Traffic Jams, and never-ending Construction," he added.

Trump compared his forthcoming plan for D.C. safety to his handling of the border.

Not just a "public park"...but along the overpasses, underpasses and lately on the grassy medians at busy intersections with line-of-sight to Constitution and Massachusetts Avenues.

Homeless people did that under a section of Interstate 85 in the Atlanta metro, they had a fire going that ultimately caught the road surface on fire on the I-85, causing the road to be shut down.  Millions of dollars in damage thanks to a group of homeless.  No, they have zero rights to be on any public lands with the intent of residing there.  ZERO RIGHTS!!!!!!!!

All governance of the District of Columbia should be made by federal appointment, and not elected by the denizens.  When you visit European capitals ... including London up to ~20 years ago ... there is no comparison.  The capital cities are the finest cities.  It's embarrassing.  Other places like Ottawa and Canberra are less distinctive but are impressive in their own right.  DC has mature tree-lined streets with rolling hills and streams, an urban design by Pierre L'Enfant, and it retains a great deal of classic architecture.  It could be so much better.

The problem is homeless try to act like they own what is public, it is not theirs, but for everyone to transverse. You don't get to just claim what other's were taxed for as just yours. If one can claim public as just for themselves, and since there is no rules, I claim all public land in central Florida as mine, and parts of LA too.... and keep off what I claim is mine.

The Constitution has nothing to do with removing vagrants from public lands.  Fine, incarcerate them and charge them.  Keep them in jail until they have their hearing.  Is that what you would prefer?

Conservatives realize that poor people are the most expensive segment of society so we really want them to be able to care for themselves. Obviously catering to their weaknesses is not empowering them.

At 1:40 pm, General Douglas MacArthur ordered General Perry L. Miles to assemble troops on the Ellipse immediately south of the White House. Within the hour the 3rd Cavalry led by George S. Patton, then a Major, crossed the Memorial Bridge, with the 12th Infantry arriving by steamer about an hour later. At 4 pm, Miles told MacArthur that the troops were ready, and MacArthur (like Eisenhower, by now in service uniform) said that Hoover wanted him to "be on hand as things progressed, so that he could issue necessary instructions on the ground" and "take the rap if there should be any unfavorable or critical repercussions."

At 4:45 pm, commanded by MacArthur, the 12th Infantry Regiment, Fort Howard, Maryland, and the 3rd Cavalry Regiment, supported by five M1917 light tanks commanded by Patton, formed in Pennsylvania Avenue while thousands of civil service employees left work to line the street and watch. The Bonus Marchers, believing the troops were marching in their honor, cheered the troops until Patton ordered the cavalry to charge them.

After the cavalry charged, the infantry, with fixed bayonets and tear gas (adamsite, an arsenical vomiting agent) entered the camps, evicting veterans, families, and camp followers. No shots were fired. The veterans fled across the Anacostia River to their largest camp, and Hoover ordered the assault stopped. MacArthur chose to ignore the president and ordered a new attack, claiming that the Bonus March was an attempt to overthrow the US government. 55 veterans were injured and 135 arrested. A veteran's wife miscarried. When 12-week-old Bernard Meyer died in the hospital after being caught in the tear gas attack, a government investigation reported he died of enteritis, and a hospital spokesman said the tear gas "didn't do it any good."

During the military operation, Major Dwight D. Eisenhower, served as one of MacArthur's junior aides. Believing it wrong for the Army's highest-ranking officer to lead an action against fellow American war veterans, he strongly advised MacArthur against taking any public role: "I told that dumb son-of-a-bitch not to go down there," he said later. "I told him it was no place for the Chief of Staff."[38] Despite his misgivings, Eisenhower wrote the Army's official incident report that endorsed MacArthur's conduct.

Although the troops were ready, Hoover twice sent instructions to MacArthur not to cross the Anacostia bridge that night, both of which were received. Shortly after 9 pm, MacArthur ordered Miles to cross the bridge and evict the Bonus Army from its encampment in Anacostia. This refusal to follow orders was claimed by MacArthur's assistant chief of staff George Van Horn Moseley. However, MacArthur's aide Dwight Eisenhower, Assistant Secretary of War for Air F. Trubee Davison, and Brigadier General Perry Miles, who commanded the ground forces, all disputed Moseley's claim. They said the two orders were never delivered to MacArthur and they blamed Moseley for refusing to deliver the orders to MacArthur for unknown reasons. The shacks in the Anacostia Camp were then set on fire, although who set them on fire is somewhat unclear.

Yes, but there are certainly local laws on the books about trespassing, littering, and disorderly conduct which can be enforced by local police.  It's not the federal government's job or prerogative to do though though because of 10th Amendment and Constitutional system of federalism.
