Trump announced that Biden's pardons are of "no further force or effect" in a social media post just after midnight on Monday.

Trump's argument that Biden's pardons are void due to his alleged use of an autopen follows similar claims made recently by the Oversight Project, an arm of the right-wing think tank behind Project 2025, the Heritage Foundation.

The group alleges that Biden used the same autopen signature on a number of official documents, including presidential pardons. Several Trump allies have reignited criticism of Biden's apparent cognitive decline and questioned whether he personally approved the actions.

President Donald Trump wrote on Truth Social: "The 'Pardons' that Sleepy Joe Biden gave to the Unselect Committee of Political Thugs, and many others, are hereby declared VOID, VACANT, AND OF NO FURTHER FORCE OR EFFECT because they were done by Autopen. In other words, Joe Biden did not sign them, but more importantly, he did not know anything about them! The necessary Pardoning Documents were not explained to, or approved by, Biden. He knew nothing about them, and the people that did may have committed a crime. Therefore, those on the Unselect Committee, who destroyed and deleted ALL evidence obtained during their two-year Witch Hunt of me, and many other innocent people, should fully understand that they are subject to investigation at the highest level. The fact is, they were probably responsible for the Documents that were signed on their behalf without the knowledge or consent of the Worst President in the History of our Country, Crooked Joe Biden!" ...

In a fiery statement early Monday morning, President Donald Trump took to his Truth Social platform to declare the "Biden pardons" as null and void, claiming they were invalid because an autopen signed them and not the former president himself.

Trump accused former President Joe Biden of not knowing the pardons and insisted the necessary documents were never explained to him.

There's an urban legend that the ink in the pen that President's use to sign official documents contains their DNA.

If this is true, could each signed pardon be analyzed to see if the ink contains Biden's DNA?

There must be some double-secret probation pre-caution in-place that allows the Government to identify forged Presidential signatures.

President Donald J. Trump announced that Joe Biden’s controversial preventative pardons for members of the J6 committee have been voided, opening the door for Liz Cheney and her friends to be investigated and potentially prosecuted.

In a late Sunday post to Truth Social, Trump added to Democrat trauma when he declared that the pardons that were doled out by the disgraced ex-president on his way out the door are “void, vacant and of no further force or effect” because they had been signed by autopen, also questioning whether the befuddled Biden even knew about them.

The President need not personally perform the physical act of affixing his signature to a bill he approves and decides to sign in order for the bill to become law. Rather, the President may sign a bill within the meaning of Article I, Section 7 by directing a subordinate to affix the President’s signature to such a bill, for example by autopen.

1.) Looks like DOJ legal mumbo jumbo crap to provide the President plausible deniability by saying he 'didn't authorize nor direct' a subordinate to sign it on his behalf.

2.) Is there a paper trail of Biden's alleged authorizations or directions for subordinates to affix his signature to a document? There should be an audit trail ... if we still are a nation of laws.

DOJ opinions, policies, regulations, etc., are not 'laws' - just lawyers' opinions.

Thank you. I'd still say there's room to doubt whether Biden was the one who directed the signing of the bills, but that's much harder to prove one way or the other.
