California is starving its citizens of energy.
Besides blaming its largest power company for fires and attempting to bankrupt them, the state just banned all fraccing in October, pushes ever higher gasoline taxes, punishes refineries to unprofitability by excessive gasoline formulations, and imposes ridiculous environmental regulations on producers.
Last year, Exxon had to shut in its offshore oil production as the state refused to permit the oil brought to shore to be offloaded.
It has no solution for dealing with lessened gas and gasoline availability other than saying it will be all EVs in a few years.
And we know what type of joke that one is.
A failed state.
