I can disagree with his continued procreation with women to whom he is not married and still appreciate his zeal in helping root out the fraud, abuse, and waste in the government.
Exactly. Too often, it's "either-or; my way or the highway" with conservatives, as with the X poster I quoted above (and with the recent pearl-clutching about Scott Pressler). Elon never represented himself to be a Christian or social conservative. Not sure about St. Clair, but still - it takes two to tango.

I never said money could replace a father, so I don't know what warm dark orifice you pulled that out of.

Ideally, we'd all marry just once, have children (what, 2.3 on average?) and raise them to be intelligent and God-fearing adults able to give back to their communities from the bounteous rewards we and they get for doing our jobs well.

Life is considerably messier than that, even for conservatives. We don't always marry well, sometimes intolerably poorly. People get led astray by everything from daytime TV to predatory cults and the ever present push to deviate from what once was a cultural norm. Substance or alcohol abuse can exacerbate other problems which might have lain dormant or never appeared at all.

Which leads to 'broken homes', although it is often one or both of the parents who is 'broken'.
Kids, if present, get swept up in that, and depending on the people involved, are either shared between caring and loving parents living in different domiciles, or are treated like shit by a custodial parent who is using them as a bargaining chip.

In reality, 39.8% of births in the US as late as 2022 were out of wedlock.

Of the circumstances of these children, Elon's are a few sigmas from the mean.
Does that make the situation "right"?
No, not by most 'moral' metrics.
Ideally, those kids would grow up in a household with two parents of opposite sexes who will be in love for the rest of their lives. No abuse, no mistreatment, no hardship.

That's a worthy societal goal, but far from being attained, and by virtue (or lack thereof) of the media, pop culture, music, etc., not to mention the intense brainwashing that all males are evil, especially the white ones (a majority of males out there), that is perfused through virtually everything from sitcoms to daytime shows and the news, it is unlikely until not only is the bar raised, but those who do make the effort to be virtuous get some damned credit for all they do instead of being lumped in as evil misogynists hell bent on keeping a woman barefoot, pregnant, and in the kitchen as a household brood mare/domestic/punching bag (emotionally or physically or both).
The divisive campaign in our culture goes right to the heart of that fundamental family unit.

If you don't think that indoctrination is present, you haven't been paying attention.

As for Elon, Elon is Elon. He isn't there to be a model for marital bliss, he's there to do the books and find waste and corruption. Considering I was twice divorced before I married well (I did learn from my mistakes), I'm not passing judgement on anyone.
I became more conservative as I aged.

Thank you! Well said as usual.

When the man already has 12 children with 3 different mothers, can this really be considered a 'scandal'??  It isn't like nobody knew his habits before this point.

The Clinton-apologists have no leg to stand on, and as a conservative I am more than capable of not throwing the baby out with the bathwater, so to speak.  I can disagree with his continued procreation with women to whom he is not married and still appreciate his zeal in helping root out the fraud, abuse, and waste in the government.

How is that relevant or even remotely important? PR guys have many clients.

Ashley St. Clair feels ‘jilted and terrified’ after Elon Musk refused to protect her, pal says

Ashley St. Clair feels “jilted and terrified” after Elon Musk refused to come to her aid when reporters began snooping around their infant son, a friend of the right-wing influencer tells The Post.

St. Clair’s decision to publicly call out Musk, 53, as her baby daddy wasn’t some “Meghan Markle-esque plea for attention” — but rather a call for help from the world’s richest man, said pal Emma-Jo Morris.

“Ashley got wind that a tabloid was kicking the tires on her, and she reached out to Elon immediately. He basically cut bait, and so the message was understood that she was on her own,” said Morris, who was formerly deputy politics editor at The Post.  ...

Morris, a political consultant who has been in contact with St. Clair throughout the ordeal, said the mom “expected it would be an arrangement similar to that he has with his other baby mamas: She would raise the child, and Elon would be peripherally present in their lives.  ...

Musk dated Amber Heard?  He sure "doged" a bullet on that one.

I mean this is the same lady who gave new meaning to the axiom "shit the bed?

Elon's having fathered 13 out-of-wedlock children is nothing to be praised. Nor is the apparent lack of morals of the various women who were impregnated. It's all a rather disgusting situation, but I don't see it as a measure of whether or not one is a true conservative, like that X poster seemed to think. I guess only he can define morality or conservatism, and if you don't fit his precise definition, then off with your head!
it only goes to reinforce the huge problem I've seen in that the few "conservative" single women out there are only interested in men as a conduit for money.

Darn those attention seeking seminated persons.
You don’t become cooler with age but you do care progressively less about being cool, which is the only true way to actually be cool.

Is that true?  I haven't been single in over 40 years, so I am not a good point of reference.  But I have noticed that the level of "Horn Dog" in our leaders has become more open than in my youth.  Too bad morality has slipped, but that's just my $.02

It's bad out there. Really bad.

Women on the whole, who are younger than 40... they went hard left, particularly after that Dobbs ruling. The ones on the right are almost all married, and they get married very young (like early 20s young).

And again, the ones who are unmarried, "conservative," and under 40, their sole goal seems to find a financial provider. Even the so-called Christians who are explicitly called not to forsake the poor... they will judge a man by his income.

Miss St. Clair is a perfect example. Claims to be a Christian, opens her legs (pardon the crude image) to Elon Musk solely because he's rich.
