Actually, my eyes go from cornflower blue (when I am happy) to shades all the way down to slate gray (when I am pissed), and sometimes with green hues mixed in... Weirdo, I know...  :shrug:

But the ladies call it a feature.  happy77

I have blue eyes as well.  Both my great grandparents came from the blue areas of the map.  My great grandmother from the dark blue area and my great grandfather from the lighter blue area.  My dad had "Paul Newman" eyes. Mine are a little darker than his.

I have brown eyes...my grandfather had blue eyes all of his 8 children had brown eyes like their mother[my grandmother] Doesn't really mean anything..just throwing it out there..lol

According to my Driver's License mine are blue... The wife's is green...

Honestly had to check my License to know... I just don't pay attention to those things in myself.  Don't really have a clue where/if the family originated... Don't think anyone has traced back that far...Wife is probable Swedish, me I imagine all over Europe ???

Parents, siblings, cousins, and I are blue-eyed. Our heritage is pretty much northern European: Norway, England, Ireland, Wales, Germany and a little French, just for the cuisine.

If ALL blue eyed people are descendants of the same person, how do you explain a Cuban immigrant I met a couple of weeks ago working at the Trump National Doral in Miami? Black hair, brown skin, and blue eyes. Said he had cousins who also had blue eyes.

Yup even if Tommy James and the Shondels toured with Hubert Humphrey in 1968, old Hubert even wrote liner notes for their next album Crimson and Clover. They actually had some pretty good songs.

I think Violet eyes must be rare as well. Liz Taylor is the only person I have ever heard of that has violet eyes.
