Here's some clarity on what Zelenskiy actually said:
Zelenskyy: Ukraine Received $76 Billion in US Aid, Not $200 Billion as Some Claim
Amira Barkhush | Feb 03, 2025 | 13:02Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed that Ukraine has received approximately $76 billion of the $177 billion in aid approved by the United States. The statement, made during an interview with The Associated Press on February 2.
“When I hear – both in the past and even now – from the US that America has provided Ukraine with hundreds of billions [of dollars] 177, to be precise, based on what Congress approved, as the president of a nation at war, I can tell you – we’ve received more than US$75 billion,” Zelenskyy stated.
“So, when people talk about US$177 billion or even US$200 billion, we’ve never received that. That’s important. We’re talking about tangible things because this aid didn’t come as cash but rather as weapons, which amounted to about US$70 billion,” he added.
The President emphasized that Ukraine had not received $200 billion.
“But when it’s said that Ukraine received $200 billion to support the army during the war – that’s not true. I don’t know where all that money went. Perhaps it’s true on paper with hundreds of different programs – I won’t argue, and we’re immensely grateful for everything. But in reality, we received about US$76 billion. It’s significant aid, but it’s not US$200 billion,” Zelenskyy said. . .

Zelenskiy's complaint is that he is being accused of corruption as the recipient of $200 billion in US Aid when in reality, Ukraine has received less than half that amount. In other words, the corruption rests on the US side, not the Ukrainian side. Biden made announcements again and again for aid that was being sent to Ukraine - aid that never made it there. We're talking over $100 billion here. So where did that aid go? State Department? Defense Department? USAID? HHS? There needs to be an accounting. People need to address the real corruption here - the Biden regime - instead of constantly pointing their fingers at Ukraine.
This is what we've seen happening over and over again:
- Biden announces $10 billion in drawdowns for Ukraine
- Biden gives $10 billion to Lloyd Austin at DoD
- Austin sends $1.8 billion in old equipment to Ukraine, pocketing the rest
- Biden reannounces $10 billion in aid for Ukraine, taking credit twice for the same support.
Also:
- Biden announces a $40 billion aid package for Ukraine
- Of the $40 billion, $8 billion goes to USAID, $11 billion to the State Department, $20 billion to the Defense Department, and $1 billion to Ukraine.
- Of the DoD money, most goes directly to Defense contractors who then add a sizeable markup for weaponry sent to Ukraine - but not the weapons that Ukraine asked for.
- The State Department money gets shifted around other European countries to pay off other entities, all claiming to be helping Ukraine.
- The USAID money? It remained in the US, to be spent at the whims of Samantha Power.
And so forth. And so forth. Yet somehow, Zelenskiy is the bad guy.
