First, dancing queen doesn't get to demand shit from the USA. GTFOH with that B.S.
"imperial ambitions"
The geopolitical stage has changed considerably since WWII, the threat of global war is low unless pootin gets backed too far into a corner and believes there's no other way out other than nukes. And yet, he most likely will if we inject ourselves into a purely European issue. If we continue to escalate, Russia will find other ways to respond. Using proxies like N. Korea and Iran, who are tied to the houthis, etc. We need to stop interfering as the "world's cop" and deal with only those things that present a direct and existential threat to the US. Russia's threat to Alaska is an empty one, they simply didn't before and most certainly don't now have the capability to do squat. And don't think for one second that I'm not invested in this shiite either, our son is in the Army, the ones most likely to go into the dancing queen's sh!t show vs. the USMC. The dancing queen can go find himself some other mercenary outfit to act as "peacekeepers". That azzhole and his corruptocracy in ukraine have been bleeding the US for $$ and materiel for far too long. Demanding the blood of our son's and daughter's is a bridge too far and an absolute no!
1. Russia is currently occupying territory belonging to Japan, Ukraine, Georgia, and Moldova.
2. You may not watch Russian state television but I do. I believe them when they say they want to invade and occupy the Baltics. I believe them when they say they want to invade and occupy the countries that used to be under the USSR. I believe them when they say they want to invade and annex Alaska. Given the opportunity they will do these things.
3. Allowing Russia to conquer and annex Ukraine and then murder thousands if not millions of Ukrainians
as they have done before will encourage those bastards to seek further conquests.
4. Ukraine has been corrupt, absolutely. That's the natural consequence of eighty years of Russian domination. The rest of Eastern Europe faced similar challenges with corruption when they were freed of the USSR and each of those countries has dealt with the problem. Ukraine was making progress in this regard and they were on track to becoming a freer and more prosperous people and
that is the greatest threat to Russia. Gangsters like Putin are deathly afraid of the day when Russian people stop wanting to steal someone else's prosperity and instead start demanding it for themselves.
5. The US and NATO expenditures in Ukraine have done more to degrade the Russian military than did the $1 trillion to $4 trillion (in 2025 dollars) of Cold War spending. Russia is far less of a threat to the United States today because Ukrainian soldiers have fought the Russian invaders and made the bastards bleed.
5.1 Russia has squandered the best of their military hardware and that hardware is effectively irreplaceable. They cannot produce advanced equipment in significant amounts, they can't replicate the industrial might of the USSR that build tens of thousands of armored vehicles, aircraft, and ships, and at this point the Russians are likely losing their nuclear capabilities since their Mayak production facilities were destroyed in 2017 and cannot be replaced.
6. President Trump is not going to surrender Ukraine to Putin. It would be political suicide if he did. The Democrats would run their
Russia! Russia! Russia! trope up the flagpole and a lot of people would believe it and the fragile GOP control of Congress would be lost.
7. Russia will not now or ever be allowed to dictate who can or cannot join NATO or the EU. Period.
8. "Russia's threat to Alaska is an empty one"
Please. People like yourself said the same thing of Russia's threat to Ukraine this time in 2022.
And they were wrong. If Russia thought they could get away with it they'd do it. They just don't think they can do it right now.
9. "our son is in the Army"
And I hope your son never has to fight the Russians. If the Russians can be stopped where they are then he won't have to. If the bastards can be made to go back to Russia then
my son won't have to.
10. Isolationism always leads to war. Always.
The US in 1800 tried isolating ourselves from Europe and we ended up embroiled in a European war that we called
The War of 1812.
The US stayed out of European affairs but in the US Civil War our isolationism was repaid when Europe openly sided with the Confederacy. And then our civil war several times came close to getting us into a war with Europe.
The US went after Spain in the 1890's and Germany contemplated attacking us in order to gain what we had taken from Spain.
The US isolated itself again and in return the French and British armed themselves thinking that the US was their #1 adversary.
Wilson played silly games and we ended up fighting in World War One.
Then we isolated again and foolishly disarmed our navy with the ill-conceived Washington Treaty. That led to the next World War, just twenty some odd years after the first one.
Then we dropped isolationism and we haven't had another world war for the past eight decades.
The problem with isolationism is that
Power Abhors A Vacuum.
If we retreat then someone else will advance. Because they always do.
And then boys like yours and mine end up paying the butcher's bill trying to fix a mistake that we should have learned from the first dozen or so times we made it.
In summary, if you want peace with Russia or peace in general then you need to make sure that our enemies fear us and know that they will answer to us if they step out of line.
