Kept up and enjoyed so many bands the past 50-60 years, that sometimes it seems like ongoing losses.  Then again, the average life exp is 70 and some change, so not surprising.

Still the tandem of John Lennon,  Tom Petty, and Neil Peart hit me the worst.
I display the Confederate Battle Flag in honor of my great great great grandfathers who spilled blood at Wilson's Creek and Shiloh.  5 others served in the WBTS with honor too.  Note:  Posts may also be allegorical in nature, and not literal.

Saw them in 1979, with a stripped down stage show.  Our local venue kill joys made them tone down pyrotechnics.   Still enjoyed the show despite 110db and distortion.

The Korean culture is disturbingly nihilist. Imploding birth rate, originated the 4B "reject all men" movement, and ironically that's the culture the media has been force-feeding us the past few years.

And that's just the South Koreans!

They didn't even say how she died. On its face, suicide is obviously the leading candidate. Not saying that's how she did it, but the warning signs have been there for years.

Awww... Lassie ... I loved that show. She lived to 100 -- that's a pretty darn long life.

You're welcome @Cyber Liberty . I look over there every  six months or so and just happened to catch it. Many people cut their teeth (so to speak) there.

Jim Robinson disappointed me, like bannon@Brietbat years later.
I can only imagine what it would be like to run a site like that but neither of those two will be just a footnote in History where as our Illustrious @mystery-ak would be in the Hall of Fame.

RIP Mr. Robinson.  His biggest mistake was not allowing dissent among of Conservatives in '16.  Was there 16 years,  and was gobsmacked many of us were muzzled for what was  reasonable counter and thought.  It will be interesting to see  what TOS does after his passing.

He was doing that at least 15 years before that, even. Or, rather, he gave his moderators the power to muzzle anyone for no reason whatsoever.

I never visited TOS, and am only aware that there were quite a few disgruntled members.

May God comfort his family and may he rest in peace.

Liked the site very much. But I could not tolerate Jim's worship session threads.
The entire thread would be his people pouring praise and thanks on him.
Not for me.

And if you happened to say something/anything he did not like, it was a ZOT for you as an example to his flock.
Never had any feelings for him one way or the other.

It's a crying damned shame what Jim allowed to happen to FR. It was my home away from home for a very long time. I once loved the place.

Sorry to hear (read) that @bigheadfred ! Jim was a good friend at one time. Prayers for his family and all who loved him.

Sheila passed away a couple of years ago.  I used to FReepmail him Anniversary messages, many years after I came here.  Only John and Chris remain.

IIRC it was "A one way SOB" but it doesn't really matter now.
