The only way I could se it being a HIPAA violation is if someone accessed her medical records without permission and used the information to fire her. If she herself stated that she had not and would not take the vaccine, and her reasoning there could not be a violation, as you stated.

Any way HIPAA is violated everyday in every doctors office when everyone in the waiting room often hear very personal information from those talking to the receptionist.

Blue Cross/Blue Shield is an HIPAA covered entity and even though someone is a BCBS employee BCBS management is prohibited from using Personal Healthcare Information (PHI) for business or employment reasons.

Your employer might not be HIPAA covered but you still have Federal civil rights protections for your PHI and your PHI cannot be used for business or employment reasons.

In particular is the application of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 by the courts. No employer is exempt from this law.

Even New York City has had to settle up with the people they fired for not complying with the Death Shot Mandates. And that's a government entity that is typically immune to such claims.

No, the tide has already turned on Death Shot Mandates and retaliation against those people who refused the shot. The question now is how big will the settlements be, not whether or not the employers are immune. Because they are not.

Not clear on the judgment here, but I would argue that getting jabbed with an experimental RNA activator (i.e. not a vaccine) was not a condition of employment at the time of hire.  Nor was said MRNA activator certified as "safe and effective" by the FDA.  Thus, their attempt to change the rules regarding condition of employment were not based on any medically established risk analysis, but instead were based on a purely arbitrary decision, not only without medical foundation, but also without any reasonable basis whatsoever.  Punitive damages should have been ten times higher than what was awarded here.

As I have posted, and posted links to the data, not all lots of the injections were created equal. Some lots had over 5,000 VAERS reports, others, none. It was a cartwheeling crapshoot which lot you got, although the worst ones were in red states; heavily Democrat areas tended to get the 'safer' lots. Your statement that millions should have died is hyperbole, I believe. However if you or a loved one is the unlucky recipient of a dose that causes an adverse reaction, how many others suffer from the shot is moot.

As I recall, the Swine Flu vaccines (Ford Administration) were pulled and the program shut down because of an unacceptably high adverse reaction rate.

No such was allowed to be discussed in the media about the COVID injections (the media were stumping for 6 ft. distancing and masks and pimping panic). After all, if the disease had been as deadly as they claimed, billions would have died.

Censorship of anyone who bucked the narrative was extreme; anything which did not fit the narrative was censored.

For that reason, the number of adverse reactions or deaths/injuries from those reactions may never be known. The only indicator is the data from insurance actuaries claiming an increase in 'excess deaths' for the age groups they monitor in order to be able to keep making a profit on life insurance, and while not definitive, it tends to indicate an increase in deaths in younger age groups who got the shots, not just old folks with multiple comorbidities which have been attributed to COVID.

What has been made clear is that the 58 royalty payments to Fauci and Collins were mostly pre-covid. What has not been made clear is how much they DID get. (Apparently only three of the payments were made in 2020 or 2021).

Keep in mind that a royalty interest in "the low single digits" on a Billion dollars can still be a substantial sum. One percent of a Billion is still 10 million. Also, royalty payments are not immediate, but depend on the total sales, which may well have tapered off, but certainly have not stopped, so 2022-present is not represented in the article.

For some reason many people desperately want to believe that all the prominent medical people around the world wanted to foist a hoax on the world's population for reasons unknown to me.
Covid was real. The vaccines saved millions of lives. Even Trump (correctly) still defends his Covid policies.
I don't defend the Biden admin's policies concerning forced vaccinations or their shutdowns of schools that harmed millions of young Americans.
But, why many people think that this was some sort of deranged scheme by hundreds of thousands of respected medical personnel around the world is beyond me.

Because those effects were unknown, or at least undocumented, physicians and others administering the injections could not inform the patients of those effects, and thus, the patients could not give informed consent.
